I was fortunate enough to see the "Brutal Planet," your in Greenville, SC on Halloween. WOW is an understatement. What a show and what a great stage presence. One of my all-time best shows. Thank you, Alice.
I´ve seen this show... 6 or 7 times around 2000/2001... it flashed me completely! The first time the controller came out... "well, well, well..." Visual this and Dragontown were his best shows/tours.
I saw the Brutal Planet Tour in Greenville, SC. It was on of all night's, Halloween. I received free tickets from a radio station by writing a ghost story. The grand prize was backstage passes. Unfortunately, my story wasn't good enough. But I still got to go. Cooper did Cooper classics and cuts from the album. He has such a stage presence. Great show. Great memories.
1: For some reason, this reminds me of a song that he did back in 1987, off of the "Raise your fist and yell" Album, which was one of my favorite albums from Alice Cooper. The song that I'm thinking of is called "Gail". It starts off softly, and remains that way through the second verse of the song, then it kicks in full force through a good bit of it, before going back to being soft, at least in the background music. They used plenty of Harpsichord for Gail. Secondly, this song seems to be about burying the past, in an odd way of speaking. It speaks of the futility of trying to put something together that wasn't meant to be put together. It's a great song!
@@ronaldshank7589It is about war. I think the last verses suggest the impossibility to completely escape this specific trauma from the past, in spite of the attempts.
This song is about war in Kosova. Alice wrote this song right after hearing the news about the on-going war in 1999-2000 and the killings over civil Albanian population.
Man! What a devastating song it is, too! It's enough to bring a person to tears, when you hear the sadness in Alice's voice, and you feel the utter futility of what, in the lyrics, he's trying to do, only to find out just how impossible his task is! Alice has become deeper and deeper in writing and performing the songs that he does, the older that he gets! Also:With him actually being a Christian, he strives to put some of his belief in God into the songs. I love that about Alice. He has proven to the World, time and again, that you can be a Christian, and still get your point across!!!
Kosova? My thoughts are that it's about the Holicaust. The part about, "scars on the skin," and "demons with guns, who marched through this place, killing all that was here. They're inhuman race."
@@rickhensley5963How the heck can you not spell? It's "Kosovo" and "Holocaust". What's wrong with you, people? Getting "deep" into heaby things, and can't even spell something so sober correctly? Come on, you can do much better!
Looks like an E-bow. Electric bow let sound the guitar as used a bow on a violin. It makes the string vibrate endless and you can play looooong notes and even change them. Sorry for my bad english. Greetings from Switzerland!
America is the world´s ulcer... but let´s blame russia while uncle sam is annoying them for decades. Brainwash works... Selensky is an actor and this whole thing is staged anyway. Also Ukraine is one of the corruptest countries in the world...

This live performance is just so amazing !!! tension is going higher and higher throughout the whole song... wonderful musical journey
Such a powerful song
The whole album is really good. I've noticed that he puts out some really good and interesting stuff that doesn't get the recognition it deserves.
All my alice concerts I've been to brutal planet was the best
