- I said before that I wasn’t going to do anime villains but recently I discovered the show Seven Deadly Sins thanks to my good friend Arkham Asylum and I actually really enjoyed it. I thought it was a very epic and emotional show and I liked a lot of the villains in it. So now I will try to do as many villains from this anime as I can and will start with one of its best. Galand here is a very destructive and battle-crazy metallic demon who likes to beat the hell out of people and laugh about it. I thought he seemed very cool when I watched Arkham’s video of him (which I put above) and he definitely is. Plus Galand also has a very fun and sadistic personality that makes him enjoyable to watch, especially when he’s with Melascula. I would have loved to see him more in action as a recurring antagonist in the show, instead of just in like half a season. Although I heard he recently returned in the Four Knights of Apocalypse sequel series which is nice. Anyway I will be definitely doing many more Seven Deadly Sins villains in the future, as well as other anime villains that I plan to take a look at whenever I get the chance.

As for Galand he can appear as not my type of villain but I can’t help to enjoy as hell his personality and theatrical character. The song is perfect and a nice connection with my song choice! Keep up the good work!

He's the reason I've ever watched the anime in the first place,saw a friend of mine completely loving this character and I did too,now I'm a huge fan of the entire series,love to see people represent him so well.
Very good tribute for Galand. He was wasted in the original anime so it is nice to hear that he returns in the sequal.
I think a big trope of Anime is that at some point, a new threat is introduced with a higher power level that humbles the main characters, which necessitates evolution. The main examples I usually think of are the Frieza Army from DBZ, Uvogin from Hunter x Hunter and (Now that I'm watching it) CP 9 from One Piece. Galand, I find, is a proper way of using this trope. His battle lust makes him an obvious pick for the demonstrator of the Ten Commandment's power, but the fact he did it with depleted power is what really makes his first fight probably my favourite so far.
I think this video captures both that trope and Galand's character well. I like how a lot of the comedic elements could be placed in the Chorus without it feeling rushed or forced. Plus, the song really just feels on point for his love of fighting. Honestly? Just an overall really impressive job!
An awesome and fitting tribute for the Commandment of Truth! Galand is a fantastic villain, one of my all time favs, and you showcased a ton of his best moments. I didn't expect Skillet to be a good fit for him, but this song actually works wonders for him, and I particularly like whenever you managed to get him and Melascula together - their relationship always made me smile. Great work!
Thanks a lot! I agree, I enjoyed Galand when I watched this show and I thought this song could work really well for him. I actually have plans to do a tribute for Melascula too since I found a good song for her recently but I will probably wait for the sequel series since I heard her and Galand returned in that recently.

Great job, Goblin. The reason why I didn't comment earlier was because I haven't watched that anime at the time. From what I've seen in Seven Deadly Sins episodes he was in, I think Galand does have..... something of an honorable side to him I guess 🤔, despite being very sadistic demon 😈. And of course, Kirk Thornton did a great job voicing him, probably my fourth favorite role of his after Kisame Hoshigaki from Naruto, Shadow The Hedgehog and Saix from Kingdom Hearts.

I do say galand is one of my favourite villains in Seven Deadly Sins he's really fun to watch he's a force to be wreaking with. This song fits him very well as well can't wait to see who's next.

Thanks! The main protagonist of the show is Meliodas, he looks like a little kid but there is actually a lot more to him than that
