i wish more than anything that i could be an honest, fat, and jolly innkeeper (of great lineage) who can only remember his own name because people yell it at him all day.
but alas, im nonetheless a librarian and secretary's son. with tarnish on my brass and mildew on my glass.
to an anchor ever dropped. sea sick, yet still docked. captain spotted napping with his first mate at the wheel.
🙄 still not half as bad as God is good.
