In today's video,@Saltyscales, @SeeYaDude, and I are deep inside Tampa Bay targeting grouper and snapper, but with the big snook to the warm water, we have been catching a lot of them. I have been managing to catch monster snook every trip out now. Even my fishing charter clients are catching the biggest snook of their lives. Snook fishing Tampa Bay isn't very popular this time of year, but if you know where they're they can be caught.
Grouper and snapper fishing were the main targets in this video, but when the big snook are chewing I will never complain. Big snook on light tackle is a blast and I would say almost even better with dolphin chasing after them too. Brent has been dying to experience the monster grouper bite we have been on. Unfortunately, the dolphin wouldn't leave us alone, which made fishing impossible. We moved to different locations within Tampa Bay throughout the day, but the dolphin would follow us. Snook fishing around the skyway bridge can be a great way to catch these snook in transitions from the beach inside the Bay. I got to flex the Okuma Cedros 4000 and SRT Elite rod on these snook and they shined. If you aren't targeting big snook right now in Tampa Bay you need to switch your attention from the grouper and snapper, give it a shot.
