Every player getting access to all the team chems doesn’t bother me because smaller schools would be screwed cuz they probably wouldn’t have a lot of players in ultimate team
But we should have ways to get tokens or pull tokens from packs to change team chems. Make a game out of it, straight outta the gate making it 50/50 for 0 work is blasphemous

Couple of things, Matt.
I've burned out playing MUT due to playing against meta spammers. While I agree running the meta gives you the best chance to win, combining that with spending creates teams that are tough to beat. I spend a little but I'm off meta. I quit last January after playing like my 28th of 29 games against bunch offset. Wasn't that I wasn't winning. Just wasn't fun.
I think people get upset at MUT because it is the root of most of what's wrong with Madden. Silly abilities on new expensive cards to make you want to keep up with the Meta? Check.
I want to give MUT and CUT a try this year. I've resigned to the fact that if wear and tear isn't in CUT, I will just play dynasty. It is the one feature that I think will help with play spammers. Let's see how your qb stands in the pocket and throws his 11th deep post while getting blasted.

I don't think so either, because then backups will matter in UT which is pointless a lot to consider. I hear you on the 28/29 offset, but to be fair I did sway you against playing all-madden seasons. They are just wannabe gangster sweat dudes lol. Go NMS this year
I'm an "OG" CFB/NCAA player. I played NCAA more than I played madden and that was back in the day when REGS was the only thing to play online for both NCAA and Madden. I never fully enjoyed Ultimate Team stuff. I am a weird-o that likes to use my favorite team and players. I am not that interested in using players that don't really play on my team.
Now that being said I understand WHY Ultimate Team became so popular. When your favorite team sucks, then they are going to suck online so with Ultimate Team came around you could make teams competitive using fantasy squads. NOW the majority of Ultimate Team is just get the top player in each position to have highest OVR team. and to me that's boring that most teams are the same.
For me I feel like to stay on the cutting edge of UT you have to grind like a full-time job or spend money. So when I do try UT, I usually fall into just trying to get the best players for my favorite team.
Now I am no where near an expert since I do not play like I used too. But maybe this CFB 25 will bring me back into the football grinding mood again. And as much as I do not like UT I will try it out with players from my team. I mean I don't like using random players on my NFL team I really think it is weird to have an Ohio State player playing for Tennessee. But that's just my boomer opinion and maybe that'll change.
They killed the whole point of ultimate team, giving every player all team chems, they could have at least broken it down by conference

UT players want marvel and DC superpowers so badly to feel good about their chances to win. I think UT is better this year. EA removing X factor from NCAA was the best decision. Abilities should show a few times a game but never feel OP

I don’t like how there are going to be current nfl players in cut. I feel like they should do college legends instead of players who are good now but not in college. By adding nfl players it’s like what’s the point of madden

Totally agree. One of my biggest appeals to this game is having no NFL players in it so everything feels fresh. Plus I don’t want these NFL legend cards to be the OP cards everyone using

People can like what they want to like, but people are also free to dislike what they dislike. In theory, I like the idea of UT, but in execution, it’s really just another P2W game mode that’s not exciting. And with Madden, that’s where they make all their money from so that’s where EA puts all of their focus and the rest of Madden suffers because of it. I want to love Madden, but it just hasn’t been a good game in a long time, and that’s why people are concerned with CUT. Sure, right now Dynasty and RTG look very feature complete, but will they pull a Madden and take away features only to reintroduce them 10 years later as “new”? If the CF team decides to put more focus into CUT because it ends up making so much money year in and year out, it’s a very valid concern gamers SHOULD have. And honestly, if you want people who have these concerns and just don’t like the game mode to not voice their concerns or share their opinions about it so you don’t have to see it or hear about it and live in an echo chamber of positivity, that’s really a disservice to the community. Not everything is going to be perfect. And we don’t need to treat everything as if it is perfect despite whatever flaws it may have. Doesn’t mean we have to be hypercritical about them, but flaws are allowed to exist and they should allowed to be talked about so that they can be improved upon. Yes, there is such a thing as toxic negativity, but toxic positivity is also very much a problem that doesn’t fix anything. Everyone can have their own opinions and should be able to discuss them freely.
That’s just my 2 cents. I’m happy that you’re excited for it and I hope you enjoy it because I hope it’s a great game and am looking forward to it coming out next week!
Nice take, I will always continue to believe that as long as you are average or above in skill though, the game isn't as pay to win as you think in UT since the meta gameplay is quite powerful. It's scheme over team. If people are pack addicted, that's on them lol. CUT will never take over dynasty in terms of popularity and that's my take.
