I have had hard financial times in the past all due to crap leadership, crap government and crap management. I completely agree with everything you say. I love the way you tell the truth and describe things as they actually are.
We are in this country terribly British and i hate to say we are a walk over even though we think we're not. We're very stiff upper lip and just get on with things even though we dont agree with the system. We've been brain washed not to rock the boat in fear of the consequences. That being said i do believe us Brits have really had enough now and seriously its just a matter of time before the country revolts against the government. All hell will break loose and i for one will totally agree with it. Its already happening and people are finally waking up. Will we ever beat the system? probably not but i do believe we'll give it a dam good try. Its the old saying " If you always do what you've always done then you'll always get what you've always got" its time to stand up and rise. Here's hoping anyway. I could talk about this for ever but then it gets political and people dont like that. Its true what they say, we are the minority in our OWN country. That to me is shocking and sad.

We are not a nation of complainers . Full stop. I think in France they do rebel more . I meet lots of people who moan , but when i say complain , they won't . Many things in our Country are in a bad state but we do seem to put up with it . For a start we need higher wages in all jobs . So let's hope Labour do something about minimum wage soon . There is no way they can keep putting up taxes if people are living off fresh air!.
Higher wages will cause inflation problems, have to bring down costs of essentials like food, rent etc so higher wages aren't needed ,demand pushes everything up
It's a complex system. Every decision made, affects everything else and the problem is the economy is in such a fragile state that one wrong move and we end up with another Truss situation.
Well expressed - but I kinda think the powers-that-be infiltrate the good people and before any of us can try to take action for change, the good people are always going to be apriori 'disabled' and disempowered so that any action will be futile or backfire badly. But I absolutely get your point. From my own personal and current experience, taking on the powers that be becomes a life mission where one accepts that one has nothing else to lose, so one chooses to fight the cause, whatever cause that is to each individual. I was inspired by the PO scandal documentaries and the Hillsborough reports BUT they took decades to come to public light. The good people, hoping for transparency, accountability, justice etc get older and more worn down ... their life has turned into a cause and fight... The powers that be (generally faceless corporations) always have a sinister and powerful legal strongarm... But despite my own pessimism for Change for the good of all, there are certainly more and more ordinary people being made aware of the injustices served on the disempowered keeping them in their place. I truly believe we're heading for even more state control akin to autocratic regimes etc THANKS for inspiring this long comment from me - lurv your channel and your online shop 🏝️
I think it's so funny how people complain about the state the country is in and blame Labour who have been in power for a few weeks while ignoring the fact we have had a tory government for 14 years. I'd like to see the gap between rich and poor to become less as it has grown and grown and working people are struggling, the bottom 50% of the population owned less than 5% of the wealth in 2021.
They been in power few weeks already planned on letting 40k plus prisoners of all types free if they have less than half their sentences to serve. Already been disturbances etc in Leeds etc, signed the deal to provocative Russia further, probably keeping conservatives polices for the sick and disabled, people who probably voted for them because they thought they'd be compassionate. Stopped any deterant for ilegal newcomers, told people to offer up their homes to the barge people. The recession and knock on effect was caused them in 2007, still got austerity from that, they're all bad and we need fresh individuals to governing us before it's too late, it's already too late as we can see with housing crisis.
Labour, Tory, Liberal makes no difference. You only need to do a few "Early Life" section checks to see that all of them, are subordinate to insanely powerful international controlled networks, especially the banking bloodlines. You will notice a familiar pattern in the surnames and their ethnic group. Nothing will ever change until those at the top of the power pyramid are toppled, once and for all. Voting and democracy are just two of the weapons in their arsenal against us.

But Claudia the political system you described is how societies maintain the status quo. Institutions and processes are so well embedded any notion that things could be done differently with different outcomes, are completely unthinkable to the vast majority of people. British people are, by and large, conservative with both a large and small ‘C’. Best try and be a decent person and don’t fall for poison espoused by the nasties.
People's lives aren't left untouched tho, everyone must be experiencing issues however small because of the policies of the government here and abroad over the past decades. In the next 10 years things will get worse which will change the tide of tolerance or we're sunk
