this console proves itself recording high dynamic difficult to record jazz drums and delivering a sound its seems that would not be there or be missing with out it , it seems to sound state of the art and i would could see why a pro studio would and should install one ,. this console is cleaner then the other ones fat and warm its special
this seems the best console ,, the sound techniques console or the best neve console would be the competitors to this board is my guess ,. this console wins because i think they got the noise floor the lowest , its what some one is comfy working on something easy makes a difference is why sum-one might pick one over the other but its going to be what sounds better , and this console seems to have the fat warm sound and do everything else really good or better and has the best master section to mix threw and out of with the lowest noise over all , the consoles mic pre-s and EQ seems like there winners it has compression on every channel as well can do automated fader control levels flying faders i think , you dont need auto eq but you do need to be able to program your mix fader levels wen mixing 24 tracks or more , so thats a valuable detail that this console can handle i believe ,. getting a new clean everything works sounds great low noise low heat one power supply runs the entire console with the fat sound and everything this console does ,. hook one of those LAAL limiters for 9 grand to your master section ,. this console i believe is 30K master section 25K per 8 tracks so a 64 channel n trophy console would run you about 230K thats a reasonable price for a pro level does everything new top of the line recording console it seems a little bit lower then the neve api ssl of the same size or at least its not more there about the same if this one is not less money ,. in a recording studio you need at least i would say a 56 channel console if not keep adding and go bigger and get the largest you can afford ,. in the used big console market you can run into problems spending less moneys buying a giant used SSL console only to have a to pay a teck to live in your studio to take care of the board the down time the heat the large console the noise , its almost better to get 200 grand or more together not mess around and just buy a new N trophy console , im working on getting the moneys together ,. buy a new console or buy a new house ,. thats the question ,. l. o. l. ..
