Just the best, most intelligent, musical and technically brilliant performance of this marvellous piece. Isabelle Moretti makes everything she plays sound so fresh whether it is Bach, Romantic pieces or 20th Century Gems like Faure's. Thanks for uploading this.

I concur that this is a superb performance, and I'd also point out the lovely way the sound of the light wind in the trees adds to the experience. It's simply one of those videos where everything came together perfectly. Thank you, Madame Moretti, for the performance and for posting it free of charge!

Its classified as a 1st diploma piece in the ABRSM syllabus in the UK however that's not always reliable. But it was originally composed for a final recital at Paris conserv. So it is quite difficult.

I believe this was originally for piano? Anyway, I have it as 6th Impromptu Opus 86bis, but the notes are equal to what you're playing.
This is very beautiful, excellent interpretation of this rather hard piece. Bravo!

You are better than many other harpists, but some of your videos are loud and compressed and that distorts the relative harmonics of the harp. What I sey is measurable because acoustics is part of physics. Record more great musical pieces for solo (alone) harp. You are great. Upload with not distorted harmonics. Very loud sound distorts the relative harmonics I repeat! Very silent sound also is bad because the average users doesn't have a dynamically perfect sound system. I hope you understand that harp is one of the most difficult harp to record, because it's subtle at the high frequences, and some detail is lost when we distort a loudly compressed soundtrack. Upload more stuff online. Millions of people don't listen to harp music by conscious choice. Conscious choice means to write concert/pedal (non-Celtic) harp and press OK or enter. You must be there for me. I am a Harp Knight. Study the piece Black Mass sonata for piano of Alexander Scriabin, select a mystic scale you like, and spread the notes. You cannot play the original piece, spread again the notes in a similar way, and analyze some unplayable chords. Please play your version of the Black Mass. Not for the game, not for the glory, but for me and me only; the Harp Knight! Please! 🌹

A very good performance but too much buzzing and brittle sound to call it a great or brilliant performance.
