I caught Kasim's show in Chicago a few years back. He is not only a great musician, he is a hilarious and enthralling storyteller. And I could see that the ladies in the audience were enamored with his handsome looks. If you ever need to find a show that pleases every demographic, kasim is it.

Kasim is sincere. He truly is. Loved hearing about all those gigs he caught on Staten Island.

Im surprised he was peaked by the top 40 "hit" they had w Utopia..... The complete works of Utopia cannot be measured... It has impacted my life 10 fold over ANY song you can name from "top 40" .It wouldn't have been nearly the same without KAZ's talent and musical gift....I hope he knows how much the music of Utopia has meant to so many .... Met him recently on the 2018 Utopia tour and he''s definitively a genuine and classy kind of guy behind all that talent... THANK YOU KAZ !!!!

No mention of Price Sulton? Very underrated and appreciated album... Kaz is a very modest dude and an enormously talented musician, not just bass.

8:55 -- We always imagine Utopia (Roger, Kasim and WIllie) being a fully-formed unit since time immemorial, but it's excellent hearing about how they came together as Todd's backing band!
In Utopia at 20 years old! God-DYAM! That's a career-starter right there! And he even says so!

Cream always rises to the top. Kasim is one of my all-time favorite bassists (I play bass, and someday when I grow up, I dream of being as good as he is.)
