They are still damaging to your hair. I have clients asking about them all the time and i don't recommend them. Your adding more strain to your hair; its essentially trying to dry you hair and straighten at the same cause which is using more heat. I personally wouldn't use them and i don't recommend people trying them but there're people who swear by them so it depends on the person..ps sorry for the long rant!
