I get this same error code. Did anyone fix it? what is wrong?
jason5591 Updating your graphics drivers works, make sure it’s not plugged into your motherboard too
I found it. I plugged the vr in hdmi port and used a display port wire to plug my display. It worked!!!

I got the same problem and I tried everything suggested but it wont work I guess I'm going to buy an oculus rift s instead
I am more curios on how you can adjust the floor height after the initial setup, aswell as wondering why the steamvr dashboard isn't showing up when i click the left thumbstick...
There was also one focus-related fix - swap your back and front cuschions on the head mount, that will make the lenses closer and FOV bigger, if you can't get the good focus with focus adjustment range, provided by default.
Problem im having is when it starts the left controler is stuck in the left corner of the vr headset ive uninstaled an reinstaled????
My computer only recognizes my headset as a pair of headphones while the display doesn’t work with a red and green blinking light

My issue was not listed here:
WMR portal closes at launch. No error code. Build 18xxx; all relevant updates installed; all relevant drivers updated.

Can you mod any wmr headset that you have with changing the lenses with gearvr's lenses? It improves lots of thing as sweetspot godrays screendoor effect better fov and sharpness... this mod exist mostly on vive
Murat Aksu thought the same thing!! Mixed reality is great but the sweetspot is so small. That would be an huge improvement
I could defiantly give that a try I have also a bunch of good cardboard headsets with great lenses
VR Kommando Thanks, there are some teardown images on ifixit on acer headset, only one ring is holding the lens so it should be pretty quick to test it

I found the fix for all these errors and the countless issues ive had while owning the acer hmd. Turns out all i had to do to fix every issue was sell my hmd and buy a vive. (btw half the time im using my acer wmr hmd im trying to fix an issue... no joke. Ive probably spent more time trying to make this garbage work than i have playing the damn thing)
I have a slightly cheaper alternative, return the WMR and get a Rift.
I'm thinking about doing the same with my Samsung Odyssey. Worked fine for 2 months then all the display problems. I'm looking at the Rift S
i have an Asus WMR headset and i had the same story with mine, from day 1 most of what experienced with this headset is troubleshooting, controllers issues extensions issues fitting issues software issues windows update issues dead pixels issues etc etc etc, and now the thing just got a USB issue which is a predicament to fix IF you can fix it at all, the hell with this thing, it was ok when it worked and a NIGHTMARE when it didn't (most of it existence) as you, never touching a WMR headset ever again....
I just got the HP Reverb G2 .... same shit ...... I might just sell it and go for the Valve Index. What a disappointment.
@@diamond4829 I got a Quest 2 recently and holy shit its now too easy to get into VR... Also playing desktop games wirelessly with Virtual Desktop is amazing. I highly suggest the Quest 2 unless you want that superior refresh rate and knuckles controllers
PLEASE HELP!!!! I found out the right camera on my samsung odyssey broke. I was using flashlight and only half of it was showing. I covered the left camera and it was all black. So my right camera is i think broken. What can i do do fix it?

purchased a Windows Mixed Reality from Lenovo. I am with an Aspire VX 15 Gamer Notebook with a 4GB GForce 1050ti GPU and a native Intel HD Graphics 630, 16GB RAM and an Intel 7th Generation I7 processor. I have all the Windows Update Updates downloaded, I have the most current drivers working from GPUs, but when I test the Windows Portal Mixed Reality, the driver error. I've used it on the WMR on another desktop computer with Radeon GPU and it works perfectly, however, I need to run it on the Notebook to use at events. can anybody help me? Have you ever had this problem?

Mine works for like a minute, blue screens and then loads until a error, I’ve done so many things, I was almost considering reinstalling windows.

I've tried plugging it back in restarting my computer un-installing and reinstalling mixed reality I'm starting to give up and if I cant find out the problem when the month is over I'm going to switch to oculus probably
Also I only have 1 3.0 Slot so I cant switch USB slots

If you haven't fixed it yet. I had the same issue. The green led was on but the display on my headset was not turning on and my Asus laptop screen was working so I ruled out display drivers, but when I checked my device manager it had a warning on my Nvidia display adapter. Apparently just because laptop screen was working my WMR needed the latest drivers.
@@stijill still not fixed but now i build a vr ready pc with used parts from ebay i3 8100 90$ motherboard 40$ 8gb ddr4 ram 60 $ case and psu combo 50$ gpu gtx 970 120$ ssd 500 gb 70$
Right now the screen is black and the windows logo pops up for a split second and then disappears. Also a short audio queue plays; anyone know how to fix?
Try to switch to 60hz in the mixed reality setting, or try to uninstall usb driver.

Maybe you have 2.0 USB ports and not 3.0.. if you do you might want to get a PCI express card

No display? That’s a different error this is to do with the could not download issue. Check your headset, it might be broken, or look up a fix. Make sure it’s plugged into your graphics card.

@@naylofu697 Anyway i had solved this error. And problem was in WMR software. And yeah... Solution is: SOLD YOUR WMR AND BUY OCULUS OR VIVE.
What a joke .. Microsoft is aware of this issue and you can wait ... so here I am ... I purchased the HP Reverb G2 and here we are almost 3 YEARS later and here I am searching the same issue. Unbelievable.

@@matthewobrien3446 3 years later almost and the issues remain ... I just bought the G2 and having the same issues, sad ... but I'm on an upgrade path so after spending a grand on the HP G2 ... I have to upgrade my system get a new windows ( instead of the upgrade from windows 7 ), so basically spend another 3 thousand to get it working. lol ..... err .... hopefully !! Dear god.
