Japan's legendary "Wedded Rocks" get reconnected, Meoto-Iwa, Mie-ken・二見興玉神社の大しめ縄張り替え (令和6年5月5日)

伊勢市二見興玉神社にある夫婦岩では年に３回大注連縄の張り替えがあります。木やり歌と二見太鼓が響く中行われました。
Scenes from the ceremony to replace the Sacred Rope connecting the "Wedded Rocks" (Meoto-Iwa in Futami, Mie Prefecture, Japan. The rope is replaced three times every year: in May, September and December.
