New Stator Replacement

Mechanical Dynamics & Analysis (MD&A) recently performed a Stator Replacement, removing the old stator off the foundation and replacing it with a brand new #Stator. The generator stator traveled by large vessel overseas then by railcar to site.
In addition, the project included a full test and inspect on field, where MD&A experts rewound, applied a blocking modification, and restored the journals. Following receipt of the upgrades, the field was high-speed balanced with a thermal heat run at MD&A’s high-speed balance facility on St. Louis, MO.
