This comes long before many of the log hopping tutorials, I like the explanation you give of double clutching; '' release for the first wheelie to 3/4 of the log height, (controlled clutching) then release or engage the clutch again as you back wheel compresses on the log.'' Paraphrasing.
Very, VERY good video. The explanations were very unique and informative. I like the double clutching concept. This technique is not always addressed in other videos. New subscriber :) If I may offer some feedback on the video itself.....I would like to hear less reverb on the voice narration so as to bring the voice "up front" a little more :)
I think 2nd is good, 1st if your going slower and its a small log, 2nd when you need a little momentum. Also depends on the bike and gearing, it can vary.
Everything they did here, you can do if you're short. The demo guy was no giant. And Markus is right, the key to most of this is doing endless hours of balance drills. Look them up , there are tons of videos on balancing. IRC tire with Rich Larson is a good source for that. Chris Birch, Grahm Jarvis, Cross Training Enduro..
nicely done guys! interesting how the terms vary, we tend to call the double clutch a "double blip" like a lot of the trials guys do.

I agree with the terminology used; 'double clutching' , it is a lot more to the
point of what you're doing, others glaze over the issue.
Good Explanation!Keep it up!

Semua itu tergantung motor nya ,, Motor harus baik performa nya . Kalau pakai motor rakitan yg cuma 100cc , dia juga belum tentu bisa seperti itu,,,,
motor mahal no skill ya sama aja boong mas
skill bagus motor tidak memumpuni, ya sama aja 😁
What is the right gear to do that?
