JHope composed and wrote the Song and his Producer Pdogg did the Mix. They got Jermaine's lines, 4 days before they shot the Music Video, J-Hope wrote the Song back in November. J-Hope was a street Dancer, after listening to Friday Night Lights, he started writing lyrics and making his own Beats. He always mentioned J-Cole in his Songs, and in general, as his inspiration to Start Music. His mix Tape Hope World is a Name play on J-Coles Cole World as well. That's why him dancing to Jermaine's rap, is pretty special because that was his Childhood, the Song a goodbye because J-Hope is going to the Military soon, it's mandatory is South Korea. The reason the MV was filmed in NY is that his musical roots and his dance (Hip Hop) started in New York, he always gives Credit to the OG's. In his recent Album Jack in the Box... he sampled ODB, and at his Lollapalooza Set he had a huge screen that showed his Face to honor him. If you wanna check out some of his Songs, I recommend Arson, Airplane Stop, Daydream, Hangsang, Safety Zone, What if, More, Baseline.

Hi Sabina, please would you do a reaction to 'Hi Ren' by Ren. It's so powerful and honest and has had nearly 6 million views in 2 months. You won't be disappointed!
I have not looked up the lyrics, but I’m assuming that being Korean, it’s free of the misogynistic lyrics that blight this musical genre. It’s laid back. It’s free of any threat. It simply delivers a vibe that you can imagine listening to on holiday. It reminds of an alternative to Happy by Pharrell Williams. The collaborative contribution I thought was going to wreck the song, especially when I heard the ‘N’ word. But, that is a fairly common reference made to ‘fellow brothers’…I can forgive that as it adds some context rather than an awful racial slur delivered by white ethnicity. Overall, I quite liked this even though it’s a style of music I usually avoid like the plague. Great song choice. Sabina..your reaction fitted the song..an approving smile.🙏
