They sang live on the Spiceworld tour too. On tour they did have quite a bit of backing track for choruses so they didn't really have to listen to each other all that much. At Earl's Court they definitely had to listen to each other. They did an amazing a capella intro to Say You'll Be There here.
If you watch the whole Earl's Court concert, you see that the girls had an elaborate stage/set. Along with their singing live, literally live (with no backing vocals), their choreography is tight also. Whoever says these girls can't perform or knocks a live performer should really sit down and watch this concert-see all the rehearsal that has gone into the final product, see it for it's true art form-before saying they sound "bad" or "can't perform," because any harsh critic wouldn't survive...!

Woww notice at melanie c's high tune ! and the music arrangement I think this song was really about geri but they took it to another level in this one. I really enjoyed!

It's not that Geri couldn't harmonize, but Geri vocally was really limited and awkwardly placed in their harmonic set-up. She was lower than Emma, but not as low as Mel B or Victoria in most songs so she ended up singing harmony lines that sound very weird if she lets her voice become prominent, which happened a lot because she is loud.
ok i forgot to say this but when you look at victorias bakc on about 1:40 or something it looks like herskin is coming out a little like a string which creeped me out when i first saw this!!
