Great! I played the same team but with jumpluff lead instead of sandslash, i got a solid 42-8 but big troubles against drifblim. This one looks way better!
This team worked really well for me. Used non-shadow Marowak, as I found the added bulk helped me get an extra Bone Club in on a few occasions, and flips the Talonflame matchup (mentioned here as a corebreaker). I'm around a 60% win rate, level 14, right now, consistent High Veteran/Expert player. Went 17-8 (actually started 0-2). There are obviously a few core breakers that have been mentioned, but really solid A-B-B. And destroying Clodsire when it's EVERYWHERE is really helpful. Can't tell you how many times I saw a Clodsire closer that just top-lefted when they were met with Gastrodon.
Because he gets positive matchups. Niantic says the matches are random. Complete lie. Matches are based on $. I’ve used his teams before but since I dont pay money, I get matched up so poorly. This season in the LL cup, when I use shuckle as the starter, thru 50 matches, I got matched up with Bronzor 39 times. Then when I switched to Purrloin for a new 50 matched. I got matched up against Bronzor 4 times. Lol I dont know why its so hard to just make the game 100 percent fair and random
I think a good tweak to this team would be to replace kanto Marowak with Quagsire using mud slap, mudbomb, and aqua tail. Then you dont have worry about water types knocking you out since he resists them.
I've also been experiencing lag frequently. With 1 turn moves like Psywave running around it makes counting that much harder when the game stutters for a bit.

I will never understand why players get all the way to end game and give up - only to lose with 2 shields. Literally shield something and you might have had a chance
