Frankly,I don't give a shit.Touche Amore is amazing and without Jeremy they wouldn't be the band they are.

Lol I can't even believe Dreyer is that modest in saying he'll never write a record as good as Touche Amore. If he doesn't understand what a masterpiece La Dispute created in Wildlife... then I don't even know. Best hardcore album of all time and one of the best concept/story driven too. Sometimes I'm not even sure 'masterpiece' does that album justice, and I hardly even like hardcore music. I listen to LA, TA, and PBtT. That's it in this genre.

Yeah for sure, to each his own. I found a couple new bands of this style that seem to just now be hitting the scene. Check out "Iselia" and "Foxes." I just recently bought Iselia's debut LP on vinyl from Topshelf Records, it's pretty dang awesome in my opinion! They remind me a lot of Touche Amore. Foxes is sorta like mewithoutYou's older stuff. You can download all of both bands stuff for free from their Facebook page. They posted mediafire links.
I feel like she just listed all those bands so she could sound like she has a good taste in music.. but they're all just the most popular and trendy bands in the genre
I don't really have as strong opinons as you towards the bands, I just thought it was dumb to think that a tour of all those bands would be good, she was clearly just naming off the top 5 trendy 'the wave' bands she saw on tumblr because trash talk and pianos become the teeth playing at the same show would be horrible

I'd have to disagree in a major fashion. I can't get into Defeater. Musicianship is good but comes no where close to La Dispute in my opinion, and I'm not too big on their (Defeaters) vocals.
