I have done that so many times Mark, head out for a colorful sunset or sunrise. And then it just isn't' there. But I still enjoy the adventure. Clouds can be mesmerizing.
I did get a nice colorful one a couple days back. Got some great pics. Haven't had time to look at the time-lapse yet but if its any good I'll put it up soon.

Yes it was. We had a photographers group outing to get a sunset. No colour but the moody clouds worked in the time-lapse
