Something about this song on a tin whistle is so nice... When I first heard it, I was like "yep, I'm gonna learn that right now.". I'm doing pretty well 😄
Ahhh this brings back my newbie days ! I learned this in 2017 one of my first tunes memorized along with the butterfly lol….. I don’t play it anymore its too easy ive moved onto cup of tea level stuff haha… 😉 . This is definitely a beautiful slow easy tune for beginners, you made it sound lovely with the piano accompanying the tune. As always, sounds lovely on your Gary H whistle. 😊 i also appreciated your slight swing and ornament ideas. ☘️
Thanks for the kind words! It's fun to go back to these tunes and find the spaces between the notes, as it were - so much gets overlooked when we're first starting out that I know I find that I wasn't able to appreciate the cleverness of some of these tunes until later.
@@whistletutor yes me too, i so appreciate “ finding the spaces between the notes” adding in notes, running notes, passing notes, ornaments, even changing the odd note . It’s a lot of fun and very creative ! I also enjoy making new variations on the repeats . They go from boring to a little masterpiece . Your right , we dont appreciate these things until we have looked back ! Clever clever ! 😉 ☘️
