Igbos have been in delta from inception, if they are migrants they will not displace original owners of the land, they will not change there names of owners of land to igbo names, they will not speak igbo, practice igbo culture ..and no igbo migrated from bini, bini man and igbo man don't look alike in any way but genetically and phenotype

POSSIBLE IGBO ORIGIN (NRI) OF BENIN AND YORUBA PEOPLE .TRUTH EXPOSED
    Reno Omokri....
1.Migration widely accepted was in north -south direction. .most southerners believe to have links with Egypt which is only reasonable to suggest a north south migration. The earliest sign of human (homosapian) was in kingdom of kush ,the Nubian kingdom, located in southern Egypt and Sudan. Due to desertification, they spread out from there down south over hundreds of years.
    en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kingdom_of_Kush
2..Our language down south is Benue-congo, which later spread to other regions down south. This further proves that migration was north-south direction along the Nile river downward
3..Archeological evidence conducted, with fossils exhumed in igbo ukwu shows igbos are the earliest to live in southern Nigeria, dating back over 100,000 years, and as widely agreed by both yoruba and bini,Nri kingdom is the oldest in southern Nigeria. Igbo ukwu bronze dated back to 9th century.this is long before Ife and Benin bronze of 14th century
    en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Archaeology_of_Igbo-Ukwu
4.As igbos are known for trade, there bronze (igbo ukwu bronze) which was the first in west Africa was similar to what was found in ancient Egypt and igbos had trade with them..
5.As igbos migrated down south, they established communities both in rivers and midwest. The igbos in midwest spread out giving rise to the binin and then yoruba(there is a place in yoruba land called ijebu-igbo..even Ooni have talked of our common ancestry) which is traceable to igbo area since the oldest artifacts down south is in igbo ukwu.. This is why the farther you go from igboland, the language changes from ika igbo to Benin to yoruba..which are mutually intelligible languages
6.The Youbas or Benin didnt come from Atlantic ocean, they migrated from land area(mainland being igbos) before coming further south. this is why the language kept changing from igbo to igboid to edoid to yoruboid and then yoruba....
7..This migration have taken place many years ago before in 14th/15th century the Benin who now decided to form an empire of war.its important to note that Eze Nri was a priest, not a warlord .As a result of closenes these southern Benin communities to Atlantic ocean, they may have come in contact with white sailors at a certain period, where they exchanged palms and other products with guns and other forms of civilisation gotten from the whiteman. This gave them an edge over others in hinterland, and further inspired and propagated formation of an empire. Pls note, this is taking place many years after migration have been established in other areas down south and people settled already.
The Iron industry, in both smelting and forging for tools and weapons, appeared in Sub-Saharan Africa by 1200 BCE, and by 400 BCE, contact had been made with the Mediterranean civilizations, and a regular trade included exporting gold, cotton, metal, and leather in exchange for copper, horses, salt, textiles, and beads. If anyone is telling you that there ancestors (ogiso) were making bronze artifacts before 1200 BCE is all lies .artifacts before 1200BC in Africa was wooden
    en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_West_Africa
8 Also note that the Nri kingdom was not war-like..its activity was more like spiritual/conversion and the served as the mecca of all her descendants(igbos all over visited Nri) and they served as refuge for slaves or people called Osu(outcast)..
9.what some igbos in Delta or other surrounding tribes confuse as Benin migration is not actually a migration from Benin but an influence on there already existing culture due to the prevailing authority at that time.people were already living in southern Nigeria including Delta and Rivers areas hundreds of years before the establishment of Benin empire in 14th century. studies shows that it is hard for true migrants to lose 100% of there original culture, if that happens then migration didnt take place. If you go to some western igbo communities like Ika,isele ukwu,or neighbouring Urhobo or ijaw you will notice these people maintained there original name, language and culture but with a little sprinkle of Benin culture in some cases due to the prevailing Benin authority at that time..please note that if at all any body migrated from Benin during the period of the empire, they were accommodated by already existing communities in other places..
10.Some(not all) misinformed Ikwere igbos saying they came from Benin is laughable. The truth is,available evidence from archaeological artifacts shows that ikwere, like other igbos are the oldest in southern Nigeria.and since ikwere and Imo share farmlands,is impossible to have different ancestral lineage. Even if they did migrated from Benin, what it means is that they were accommodated by an already existing igbo community that Influenced there language and culture.
11..follow my page to learn more about this and other historical facts.

    ruclips.net/video/4qQoVgzLWyM/видео.html make sure to subscribe
12.Any one still confused can go for a DNA test to ascertain who there closest relatives are
Read carefully, I back up my claims with fact..
    en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Niger%E2%80%93Congo_languages
Our language is Benue-Congo which is originated up north around the confluence of Niger/Benue..
    en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Nigeria_before_1500
read about the various kingdoms 👆
Further evidence to prove igbos are the earliest to arrive southern Nigeria and possibly other tribes down south are descendants of Nri igbo
