I keep listening to all these kapro demos because I love the sounds. They appear to be recorded fairly dry like early Vienna instruments and the Garritan libraries, all of which would seem to blend well and then you tie them together with whatever reverb you like. Ideal for synthesists who are into programming and mixing with electric guitars and analog synths, but less ideal for those who like big unified orchestral libraries with specific ambiences baked into the samples. Not everyone's cup of tea but perfect for the likes of myself...
What a great sound set! I’m not into recording of film scores or such so I have little use for these kind of sounds, but still I like it a lot. Maybe this inspires me to do some intimate songs with just a singer in ‘orchestra style’
Hi, are any of the KA Pro sound/instrument libraries included with the Kronos 2? Or do they all have to be purchased individually? If so, is student discount available? All the best
Hi, I didn't have the chance to try the Montage yet, I'm sure it is an excellent machine. But: I started with Korg synths and sticked to it. I am quite familiar with the programming and switching to Yamaha would certainly involve a learning curve. The grown community of Kronos users worldwide is certainly a plus Point. Really: You have to find this out for yourself, in the end it's about having fun during playing and being able to Transfer the ideas in your head into the machine.
You just copy them to a memory stick, put them in the kronos, and copy them to your KSC user bank, easy. But my friend got some and had problems with them, some of the sounds won't load, so they're not giving you what you pay for. The files are too big for the Kronos to handle, so it cuts off a lot!
No, Krome has a lower quality sound, it sounds more flat and synthetic. Kronos and Nautilus are the top-notch, Krome is just middle range, it is a little beast but still a middle range.

@@medusaland thank you for replying. That is good to know. Some of these KApro sounds are incredible.
How to buy this KApro Symphonic Dreams Complete Sound Library?
Be a lamb and be honest - do you prefer this to the Montage 8? I mean, I think both are awesome, but ... Thanks!

How did you change your patches?
+Nelson Olivares I used a footswitch in setlist mode. Just choose "increase patch" or something similar in general controller setup page. :)
