He is Acheron's best support due to being a sustain character, and same goes for Ratio due to filling the debuff quota. The weakness is not being able to survive usually. But if you know what you are doing, well then.

Maximised buff timings. I go from no buffs and no debuffs to all buffs and all debuffs. Itll take a while to get used to and its sometimes hard to keep track but you can always stop and check enemy statuses, you are in no rush.

The math is, he went from having no damage buff from Bronya or ult buff from Bronya and none crit, to having 5 debuffs, one of those being Welt's ult debuff which increases enemy damage taken, Ratio's passive giving him a very big damage buff depending on how many debuffs the enemy has and Bronya's skill and ult buffs

One of the teams i am going to try is: Acheron, Pela, Ruan mei, Welt Since welt is nihility he can get the 2 nihility team buff that acheron needs from her traces while also debuffing and sustaining, ruan mei can help with weakness break and further slowing their turn thanks to the ult and the Penetration% increase. Also Acheron i think ignores weakness so ig this will also help, if pela doesnt help with the break j will just switch to silverwolf wich is prob more reliable if you want to mainly break but idk, pela with pearls of sweat seems Op for acheron

Yes, it does, and it applies to all bosses you manage to imprison Sometimes it outright reset the entire attack cycle. So Sunset will need another 2 turns before starting
It is absolutely possible! I just decided not to in order to show just how powerful Welt's CC is here and the value of his sustain. This overpowered boss mechanic gets told "No."
You will find better luck with Tingyun than RM then. You care about toughness breaking and more ults from Ratio and more actions via DDD from Tingyun allow both to happen. At least, thats what ive found out in my experiences
No, its just more comfortable. For none CC res enemies, 67% EHR ensures guaranteed imprison, although I make do with 40-50% EHR a lot of the time. For CC res enemies, not even having 200% EHR is enough, but running 120% EHR will get you a solid 70% chance of landing your imprison so I recommend getting that and focussing the rest on speed because you will not be doing damage with a Welt on 120% EHR
Question: Why run Welt with Tutorial when there are no Def debuffers on the team? I'm Having a hard time deciding what LC to run on him, got GNSW on him rn but Acheron will be taking that soon and I've also got a S5 and S2 Pearls but the S5 is on Pela and I feel his EHR is too low for the S2. I'm thinking about using Tutorial on him but again I don't have a Def shredder so I feel it's passive would go to waste. The 40% EHR would be useful tho
I sometimes forget I have him and I don't particularly hate him, I mean he was my second (temporary) dps when I only had seele and now he's E2 I might build him at some point

What's the total EH rate of your welt? Mine is just above 50% with 60 CR and 110 CDMG and 132 speed and he's E2, Can he be used sustain? I'm planing to use him, pela, acheron with a Hanabi, Would he be viable sustainer in that comp?
Oh my! This is not only excellent but rather...who do you want dead so much? Because he can be used as a sustain character, he will allow you access to that harmony character and well...ok yes it will work but you are not prepared for the damage you will do. I mean with RM im doing 1million damage at E0S1 with Welt sustain but thats a different topic. I will release a guide video very soon about the intricate details but I will try and give you concise advice for your Welt in particular: So long as the enemy does not have CC or imprison res, 40-60% EHR is enough to reliably imprison every ult. Mine in the video had around 70%, but you can go through my relics and add them up all together if you like. With such wonderful stats, you can also have him do amazing levels of damage and with E2, you can get his ult back very, VERY quickly which means you will have a far easier time ulting and imprisoning enemies. Especially multi-phase bosses who cleanse when they go through a HP bar. Finally, he will be Acheron's best support. He can sustain for Acheron if you learn to properly use him, but he also enables full access to her passive and a harmony character. Basically, by running Welt sustain you are getting E2 Acheron for free. I will be uploading a guide video very soon and you can use that to learn the intricacies more and help you get a solid understanding, I do very much hope you watch that too and thank you for watching this video.
@@SidereumNoxI basically want everyone dead because I hate being not being able to clear the final Swarm disaster and Conundrum because I don't have any good sustainer, I always gets one shotted and for some reason they all Target my dps with that. @@baskerville8296 Depends on how your account turns out. If your Acheron is strong enough to essentially 1 ult wave 1, then you can run a dps Welt with enough EHR and itll turn out fine. Otherwise pure support might be better and if the enemy is CC res, there is no other choice but pure support. You need as much EHR and speed as you can get for those problems

I sustain by killing the enemies fast enough, ruan me8, at least e1 tingyun ddd and pela works like a charm with ratio (1 cycle clear not much rng, if your tingyun gets hit three times in a row that’s just unlucky)
Its consistent for me because I know what I am doing, if you do not know what you are doing you will need a lot of resets. I can win 10/10 times against MoC 12 with Welt sustain because it works on absolutes, but if I dont know the proper rotation or im trying a new MoC itll be a few attempts to know whats up.
@@SidereumNox hanya inflicts debuff (which Dr Ratio appreciates), which character attacks enemy with that debuff they'll recover 1 skill point. Plus she buffs atk and speed of chosen unit.
I use him as a sustain for Ratio. Unless you have E1S1 Topaz, you wont find a better team comp for Ratio...well actually maybe Aven will change that but still iffy. On the other hand, you can build him as a solid sub dps and he will not fail you. He does great as a sustain if you can pull it off, I have him ran with Dan IL and you can see the damage increase, but he works extremely well with Ratio and Acheron as it allows you access to that harmony character. Hope this helped.

@@Syntheia His sig only affects the EHR for his skill when you really want it for his ultimate. Keep that in mind. If you want to run him as a sustain and are not reaching the EHR threshold, his sig will not help you in that endeavour. With a E1S1 RM, you should do more damage than my Ratio with Welt sustain. With my Ratio and RM on E0S0, I was managing 148k follow ups so you should manage more. Check the vids out if you can. Do not hesitate to ask questions chief, im glad I can be of service!

Depends. HEAVY emphasis on depends. Again, you could end up with a sustain character that does 100k damage per turn, you could also end up with a character you will never use again. Its better for you to tell me your roster and I can tell you what benefits you have first. Then you can come to the conclusion whether its worth it.
Back then it should have been around 75:180 with 3300 attack, level 12 imaginary goblet, 4pc pioneer, 2pc sals. But I forget, maybe it shows in the video? Regardless, as good as my Ratio is he wouldnt be doing half as much damage without Welt sustain carrying him here. It does a lot

You absolutely can, I just used it because of the EHR and that it was higher level than my Sampo one, its other passive effect did nothing for me here

Been wanting to build my Welt, even though I have a E2 S1 Bronya, wouldn’t Sparkle be better since she would help with the SP problem, meaning Welt could spam his skills even more?
Thats exactly what she does. Her buffs are weaker than Bronya's but the SP help more than makes up for it

If you care about Acheron's strongest teams yes, otherwise it depends on how much you need the damage Welt sustain provides

What's the total EH rate of your welt? Mine is just above 50% with 60 CR and 110 CDMG and 132 speed and he's E2, Can he be used sustain? I'm planing to use him, pela, acheron with a Hanabi, Would he be viable sustainer in that comp?
Oh my! This is not only excellent but rather...who do you want dead so much? Because he can be used as a sustain character, he will allow you access to that harmony character and well...ok yes it will work but you are not prepared for the damage you will do. I mean with RM im doing 1million damage at E0S1 with Welt sustain but thats a different topic. I will release a guide video very soon about the intricate details but I will try and give you concise advice for your Welt in particular:
So long as the enemy does not have CC or imprison res, 40-60% EHR is enough to reliably imprison every ult. Mine in the video had around 70%, but you can go through my relics and add them up all together if you like.
With such wonderful stats, you can also have him do amazing levels of damage and with E2, you can get his ult back very, VERY quickly which means you will have a far easier time ulting and imprisoning enemies. Especially multi-phase bosses who cleanse when they go through a HP bar.
Finally, he will be Acheron's best support. He can sustain for Acheron if you learn to properly use him, but he also enables full access to her passive and a harmony character.
Basically, by running Welt sustain you are getting E2 Acheron for free. I will be uploading a guide video very soon and you can use that to learn the intricacies more and help you get a solid understanding, I do very much hope you watch that too and thank you for watching this video.
@@SidereumNoxI basically want everyone dead because I hate being not being able to clear the final Swarm disaster and Conundrum because I don't have any good sustainer, I always gets one shotted and for some reason they all Target my dps with that.
I can't clear MoC 12, I mean I can 1 or 2 star it but can't do 3, One side is like walk in the park, I clear it within 3-4 cycles most of the time but the other side complete joke and dog water.

I believe like...70% here. Which is overkill, none CC res enemies only require 67% EHR to make sure they get sent to the next cycle

@@baskerville8296 Depends on how your account turns out. If your Acheron is strong enough to essentially 1 ult wave 1, then you can run a dps Welt with enough EHR and itll turn out fine. Otherwise pure support might be better and if the enemy is CC res, there is no other choice but pure support. You need as much EHR and speed as you can get for those problems

I sustain by killing the enemies fast enough, ruan me8, at least e1 tingyun ddd and pela works like a charm with ratio (1 cycle clear not much rng, if your tingyun gets hit three times in a row that’s just unlucky)
Sustainless works if you have the firepower, but I doubt that will continue in 2.1 with the new boss

Its consistent for me because I know what I am doing, if you do not know what you are doing you will need a lot of resets. I can win 10/10 times against MoC 12 with Welt sustain because it works on absolutes, but if I dont know the proper rotation or im trying a new MoC itll be a few attempts to know whats up.
what is your dr. ratio build? I have his crit on like 50/200, enough attack and signature lightcone but he crits only 20k😭😭😭
75:200 on pioneer + Sals set. Super happy with it, but before I used to be at 80:180.

Better to use Tingyun/Bronya with Pela to my current knowledge, but I am not too familiar with Hanya so I am likely to be wrong
@@SidereumNox hanya inflicts debuff (which Dr Ratio appreciates), which character attacks enemy with that debuff they'll recover 1 skill point. Plus she buffs atk and speed of chosen unit.

i have welt and in the name of the world on me rn, and i really have no plans for acheron since i dont have any jades. what should i build him as?
I use him as a sustain for Ratio. Unless you have E1S1 Topaz, you wont find a better team comp for Ratio...well actually maybe Aven will change that but still iffy. On the other hand, you can build him as a solid sub dps and he will not fail you. He does great as a sustain if you can pull it off, I have him ran with Dan IL and you can see the damage increase, but he works extremely well with Ratio and Acheron as it allows you access to that harmony character. Hope this helped.

@@Syntheia His sig only affects the EHR for his skill when you really want it for his ultimate. Keep that in mind. If you want to run him as a sustain and are not reaching the EHR threshold, his sig will not help you in that endeavour. With a E1S1 RM, you should do more damage than my Ratio with Welt sustain. With my Ratio and RM on E0S0, I was managing 148k follow ups so you should manage more. Check the vids out if you can.

Depends. HEAVY emphasis on depends. Again, you could end up with a sustain character that does 100k damage per turn, you could also end up with a character you will never use again. Its better for you to tell me your roster and I can tell you what benefits you have first. Then you can come to the conclusion whether its worth it.

If I had better relics and could run him on an actual dps weapon, rest assured you would be seeing a sustain character that does 100k damage with their skill.
