- I probably could have spent another 5 days or so on this pmv and done some more masking but I just wanna get this done and over with.
Hope you all enjoyed this one. Took a few nights of hard editing but it was fun.
Fun Fact: The original music video for this back in 1985 was shot with actual footage and retraced over by a bunch of artists to get that pencil sketch effect. It took over 13000 custom drawings to make the music video.

Ah the 80's how we've missed you so. Brilliant music, the videos and Mtv was MUSIC TV. Two decades have passed and now we have Ponies so it wasn't time totally wasted.

This is by far the best pony version of this vid. But I would love to see how ambitious we bronies could be one day and have an entirely hand-drawn re-render of the whole video, complete with true rotation on the sketch-to-real life effect, like the A-Ha vid. It's maddeningly hard to do, I know, which is probably why nobody has done it yet. Still an A+ for effort here.

Take on me.....man, this song was big back in the 80's. the car commercial with this song got me wanting to hear it again, but when I saw this video I was like.....wow. Nice video, it's good animation and a nod to the classic 80's song.

Even though I have seen many PMV's today that some people think are THE BEST, I still think this is the best. You pulled this off perfectly and unless someone did a perfect flash animated version (which would be awesome!) it wouldn't beat this masterpiece that shows both a great song and style.
