Reminds me of One Eastern kid working in my neighbour house as kitchen helper, who he was accused of stealing money and came to me for help. It was last year. After some intervention, he was found to be honest, then later send him to his village that same year for good. Parents should be careful, especially Eastern parents for sending their kids as helpers or Babysitters in different cities unless they are above 20 years old. I feel ashamed to say that I have seen children forced to do hard labour in different homes in Dimapur...and couldn't do anything to stop it. I have been living in a rented place for the past 9 years in Dimapur and I have seen many landlords who are both educated and wealthy keep small children as less than 10 years to do hard labour. It pains my heart to see these kids toiling hard and not even being given a decent meal. Being a tenant I couldn't raise my voice against the landlord because I would be kicked out and everybody knows finding a rental house in Dimapur is not easy. I also know a particular place in Dimapur where the landlord keep small children as house helper, his pet dogs are always in chains and not fed properly, even his kittens are caged and threatens to release the dogs if tenants do not get home before 8 pm. Naga manu enika behave kuribo koikena ami bisas thakia nai. I am not generalising but I have a feeling that Naga manu toh educated aro wealthy hoijaile, morom kura komti hoi jai.
