Second, when in Rhythm Heaven Megamix they added a baby behind Munchy Monk when remaking the game, they probably meant to tell us that the baby was always there and in the DS version you just couldn't see him. Instead, there never was a baby in the DS version, as you can see from this video. So the baby was a lie.
I got recommended this despite having never played Rhythm Heaven or consumed any significant content on it. Nothing was jarring to me as not being part of the original game, it only occured to me partway through the video that this is a DS game and that you basically turned completely vertical footage into this. I really was wondering what the whole gimic was, because I thought this was just a completely normal widescreen screen capture of the game. Kudos to you and your dedication!
This video uses a 3:2 aspect ratio, which is two vertical DS screens joined together. In Drummer Duel (2:08) this is quite obvious. "Widescreen" footage is usually 16:9. So this would be a hint that this isn't a normal widescreen capture of the game.

Bweeegh.

However, seeing The Dazzles' original designs and seeing Glee Club, Fan Club, Lockstep, Dog Ninja, Fillbots, and Airboarders use the original DS format gives me so much serotonin.

Some moments look very empty, like DJ school, love lab, love lizards, splash down, blue birds, space soccer, fan club (add more monkeys), glee club, frog hop and big rock finish. Also you could make the rockers and the drummers move a bit to the music, they are too still.
