Dear Dartigan, weather patterns can develop in an enclosed environment provided enough space. The shuttle assembly building on Cape Canaveral is so tall, and obstructionless, it rained and snowed inside until a big A/C effort happened to keep it in check. I know this is Satire by Nitpicking. I want to Counter-nitpick for my entertainment: An authority did show up to the Crashed Yacht. Knowing a Jedi was involved they didn't even bother the Police and directly send the Inquisition. They gave you the Option for Challenging difficulty if you come from FromSoft, but not everyone is that good. Bodes betrayal was predicteble by Design. He was written so that over the Course of the Game you slowly let your Guard down without noticing to get a satisfying "I knew it" when it finally happens. It is later Revealed that Bode is tasked to Infiltrate Saw Garrera. Cal was just meant to be a Stepping Stone for him and the whole Empire except for the ISB didn't even know Bode worked for them. This invaledates alot of Nitpicks here It's a Moon with almost no life other then the what's in the Trash-spot you find halfway throuh your first Visit. That Labratory still looking good actully makes Sense. The Ruins on Koboh however did show Degredation. I absolutly agree with the Moon. It took me out of the Experience for a short Second first Time i saw Cal not even putting on a Helmet or Something. These ain't Holocrons you get from the Bountyhunters. Obviously The Bountyhunter Cal just killed can be defeated by Destroying his Jet-Pack. It's actully more likley you Damage it then not. The Area wasn't above Lava when it was Build and neither was it Seperated. This only happened in the Process of the Catastrophe frequently mentioned through the entire Game. When you talk with Bode after the Fight Cal explains that he Countered Dagans Force Illusion by Directing it back at him. The Scene was from Dagans Viewpoint. Cal doesn't know about Luke. Obi-Wan and Yoda only found out about Anakins Fatherhood after Order 66, so no other Jedi knew. And Dagan had a point indeed as Crazy as he was. It made to these Characters to think like that. The Frag-Granate was shielded by Cere as Shown just 2 Seconds forward. The Contactcodes are Digitilized. On a Stick. That Cere went to get. That's the actual Sin: she should've given it to someone she Evacuades first. In Ceres last Data-entry it is revealed that the whole Section of playeble Cere was just a massive Force-Echo, meaning the Cere was allready Dead for Hours wgen Cal finds her. The Datadisk Cal found in Bodes Apartment also was not a Holocron (Obviously). The actual Sin is that it should've been because it was meant for Dagan only who was the only one on the Planet at the Time Khri left who could've Open it. I don't see wy Kata should be Scared of Merrin using the Force when she has a Father who can also use the Force. The Empire allready knew Prior to Bode working for ISB who his Daughter is. They would've used her as a Hostage. The Dark Side is hard to Control. Cal only did it because he ran out of Options, but it eats on your Body and your Sanity the more you use it. Case in point of the Body: the Emperor. Case in point of the Mind: Darth Maul and Taron Malacos. Kata is not fine. She is canonicly Traumatized by the Event. But it's made Clear that while she still loved her Father, she also started to fear him after the Death of her Mother. It was also Clear to possibly that killing Bode was only a last Resort since she was the Reason they wanted a less Violent aproach.

You know what I don't get in modern games? Climbing. It's just a glorified QTE with no real way to actually fail. There is only ONE way you can take (aside from some optional ones that lead to a bit of cosmetics or loot) and you can't fall by pressing a wrong button. There is no timing, there is no decision making, there is no skill required at all. Still, games will include this "climbing" as if it has any value. Remember Prince of Persia? Where not only had you have to make decisions where to run, you also needed to press buttons with the correct timing, otherwise you would die. Heck, even Assassin's Creed still has decision making even though the timing has been stripped down the newer the series got. But since you could climb anywhere, your route was the decision you took. What actually does the climbing add to Star Wars?
I agree that climbing in this game is just so freaking boring. It is definitely the worst thing about the game. If feels like they just added dark souls combat, and then they Run out of ideas and called it a day

The lack of style switching is my gripe too. It would have made the game more interesting if you had to use specific lightsabers on specific to defeat them easily, a la Doom Eternal.
Actually if you play doom enough even the game..employs you to switch up the arsenal and try new methods. Especially with using guns and mods together. Take caca demon it can be shot with the aeroblast and killed as well. Or you can try to hit it in the mouth with the shotgun grenade.

Bode was looking for Cere, not just Cal. And he DID like Cal, he told him to flee when Vader was on his way. And well, we see Cal passing out and by the time he got to Cere's body, what he saw was her dying moments sending a force echo of what happend. That's why the fire was out after he fight with Vader: By the time he woke and got there, Vader and the empire was gone.
To be fair not all jedi served on the front lines or with clones, there is a reason that Vader and the Inquisitors are busy. I don't know if this is or was canon but I heard that the Jedi numbered around ten thousand before the purge. Looking at the size of the galaxy, the size of the Jedi temple on Coruscant and the fact that there are more temples scattered around the galaxy those numbers seem reasonable. If during Order 66 90% of the Jedi where wiped that would still leave around a thousand running around to be hunted down into A New Hope. On that note I wouldn't be surprised if Cal dies at the end of the next game and Kata survives to take on some part od his Legacy.
I'm bothered by how many Jedi survived past the Original Trilogy like Ahsoka. It takes away much of the stakes of Luke having to rely on two old men for guidance and opens a can of worms of what the hell they were doing during the movies.
@@jlev1028 This already existed during "Legends" continuity, the reason is that a lot of Jedi are either in hiding in fear of Vader or just don't want to fight. And even by the time New Hope rolls around in "Legends" only about a 100 Jedi are left alive.
It's still kind of lame from a narrative perspective. Like, a bunch of Jedi actually did get away and went into hiding. But none of them joined the rebels trying to overthrow the Empire, because Luke Skywalker was the only Jedi in the rebels. Idk, they sound like pretty crappy Jedis, if the ones we see are in newer content are all young and in great fighting shape, but they never stepped up to the plate because that'd disrupt continuity.

The biggest thing wrong with it is they release a 180gb update and don't let you play the game until it has installed. Remember when games were released fully finished. FF7 was huge with 3 discs and everything worked perfectly.
The OG FF7 released on 3 discs entirely because of the near hour of FMV cutscenes. That's what took up the majority of the space. The entire game minus the FMV cutscenes could have fit on a single CD (and I've heard that in fact the entire game is on all 3 discs already, they just have different FMVs on them.) Games now are (generally) much larger and more complex than they were in the 90s. At least today a janky game can be patched, where as most games back then you were just SOL when it came to jank and bugs.
Bounty hunter pucks are not holocrons. They have a holographic element to them but they're not holographic archives used by the Jedi and Sith. They basically just contain information on the bounty and you don't need to use the Force to access them.

Solving puzzles in both of these games take me out of the immersion. Having to solve puzzles with the force would be like washing your car or mowing the lawn with the force. I'm a Jedi, a puzzle solution in human form, I should be able to walk into a room and make the puzzle solve itself.
Might as well argue "Why do we need to do puzzles in a Harry Potter game?! Why can't we make puzzles solve themselves!" It would be a very boring game if that were the case.

It confused me when cal says "your rebuilding the archives" the only mention of the archives i remember is in a comic where the librarian from the second movie who help kanobi find the clones after order 66 makes a new archive because she remembers all the records and then before she died she deleted the original archives
How is it confusing? The Jedi Archives are the Library lol. Obi-Wan legit says 'Perhaps the Archives are incomplete" Cal is just saying she is trying to rebuild the Archives. That's it. They are shown in many media.

Play on Jedi Grandmaster, having access to all stances on the fly would be very overpowered. They would need enemies like in the Ghost of Tsushima DLC that makes you switch between them to balance it some. Btw what’s the deal with playing on an easy difficulty (is that story mode?) and then it’s a problem for not being difficult? You fall and hit your head?
Hot swapping like that would work, if they accounted for in the enemy and encounter design. I think that honestly would've been way more fun, cause I genuinely just tick to like two stances on each playthrough & rarely feel required to switch tings up.

So while SW francise is doing a lot of new random stuff it's invigorating a new gen to get the old stuff to keep kicking ass. I loved the game except for those force tears. . Trying to dash and flip on lines and through security fields was a pain in the ass. Also finding a chest with facial hair unlocks is dumb. There should be an upgrade to the lightsaber or something that you can find that is useful or something more for survival
Imagine instead of it being about some rogue Jedi, we fight Palpatine himself who goes into a massive monologue about what he REALLY wants to do with the Empire and how he gamed the Republic and its corrupt practices and intends on destroying them now that they've handed him the keys to power. Maybe even have him just say fuck it and lay a beatdown on this rando Jedi who won't matter at all. Now imagine it in a timeline where Disney doesn't own Star Wars.

I love the inclusion of a Night Sister, Mirren is fucking awesome and I always loved them and I like that they're finally realizing its fucking dumb to tell the Jedi they can't fall in love or marry...if they would of just let Anakin be with Padme, he probably wouldn't of ever become Darth Vader. This is a better story then all 3 of the "newest" Star Wars stories. I'm all about following Cal and his adventures. Its definitely not perfect but I feel like this added to the universe in a good way. Just my opinion if you don't like the games I get it, I think my Night Sister bias increases my love.❤ Edit: The one thing I hate most is everyone is a secret Jedi, its not surprising when that happens and I saw Bode I knew he was going to turn on us and be a former Jedi.
Also, surprised you didn't Sin Vader's presence for having no point in this game other than to fanwank the character for the 50th time over the past 8 years.

An authority did show up to the Crashed Yacht. Knowing a Jedi was involved they didn't even bother the Police and directly send the Inquisition.
They gave you the Option for Challenging difficulty if you come from FromSoft, but not everyone is that good.
Bodes betrayal was predicteble by Design. He was written so that over the Course of the Game you slowly let your Guard down without noticing to get a satisfying "I knew it" when it finally happens.
It is later Revealed that Bode is tasked to Infiltrate Saw Garrera. Cal was just meant to be a Stepping Stone for him and the whole Empire except for the ISB didn't even know Bode worked for them. This invaledates alot of Nitpicks here
It's a Moon with almost no life other then the what's in the Trash-spot you find halfway throuh your first Visit. That Labratory still looking good actully makes Sense. The Ruins on Koboh however did show Degredation.

When you talk with Bode after the Fight Cal explains that he Countered Dagans Force Illusion by Directing it back at him. The Scene was from Dagans Viewpoint.
Cal doesn't know about Luke. Obi-Wan and Yoda only found out about Anakins Fatherhood after Order 66, so no other Jedi knew. And Dagan had a point indeed as Crazy as he was. It made to these Characters to think like that.

The Dark Side is hard to Control. Cal only did it because he ran out of Options, but it eats on your Body and your Sanity the more you use it. Case in point of the Body: the Emperor. Case in point of the Mind: Darth Maul and Taron Malacos.
Kata is not fine. She is canonicly Traumatized by the Event. But it's made Clear that while she still loved her Father, she also started to fear him after the Death of her Mother. It was also Clear to possibly that killing Bode was only a last Resort since she was the Reason they wanted a less Violent aproach.

You know what I don't get in modern games? Climbing. It's just a glorified QTE with no real way to actually fail. There is only ONE way you can take (aside from some optional ones that lead to a bit of cosmetics or loot) and you can't fall by pressing a wrong button. There is no timing, there is no decision making, there is no skill required at all. Still, games will include this "climbing" as if it has any value. Remember Prince of Persia? Where not only had you have to make decisions where to run, you also needed to press buttons with the correct timing, otherwise you would die. Heck, even Assassin's Creed still has decision making even though the timing has been stripped down the newer the series got. But since you could climb anywhere, your route was the decision you took. What actually does the climbing add to Star Wars?

It would have made the game more interesting if you had to use specific lightsabers on specific to defeat them easily, a la Doom Eternal.
Actually if you play doom enough even the game..employs you to switch up the arsenal and try new methods. Especially with using guns and mods together. Take caca demon it can be shot with the aeroblast and killed as well. Or you can try to hit it in the mouth with the shotgun grenade.

Bode was looking for Cere, not just Cal. And he DID like Cal, he told him to flee when Vader was on his way.
And well, we see Cal passing out and by the time he got to Cere's body, what he saw was her dying moments sending a force echo of what happend. That's why the fire was out after he fight with Vader: By the time he woke and got there, Vader and the empire was gone.
How many Jedi survived Order 66? It seems everyone and their mom survived a purge and being hunted to the ends of the Galaxy.
To be fair not all jedi served on the front lines or with clones, there is a reason that Vader and the Inquisitors are busy.
I don't know if this is or was canon but I heard that the Jedi numbered around ten thousand before the purge. Looking at the size of the galaxy, the size of the Jedi temple on Coruscant and the fact that there are more temples scattered around the galaxy those numbers seem reasonable.
If during Order 66 90% of the Jedi where wiped that would still leave around a thousand running around to be hunted down into A New Hope. On that note I wouldn't be surprised if Cal dies at the end of the next game and Kata survives to take on some part od his Legacy.
I'm bothered by how many Jedi survived past the Original Trilogy like Ahsoka. It takes away much of the stakes of Luke having to rely on two old men for guidance and opens a can of worms of what the hell they were doing during the movies.
@@jlev1028 This already existed during "Legends" continuity, the reason is that a lot of Jedi are either in hiding in fear of Vader or just don't want to fight. And even by the time New Hope rolls around in "Legends" only about a 100 Jedi are left alive.

It's still kind of lame from a narrative perspective. Like, a bunch of Jedi actually did get away and went into hiding. But none of them joined the rebels trying to overthrow the Empire, because Luke Skywalker was the only Jedi in the rebels.
Idk, they sound like pretty crappy Jedis, if the ones we see are in newer content are all young and in great fighting shape, but they never stepped up to the plate because that'd disrupt continuity.

The biggest thing wrong with it is they release a 180gb update and don't let you play the game until it has installed. Remember when games were released fully finished. FF7 was huge with 3 discs and everything worked perfectly.
The OG FF7 released on 3 discs entirely because of the near hour of FMV cutscenes. That's what took up the majority of the space. The entire game minus the FMV cutscenes could have fit on a single CD (and I've heard that in fact the entire game is on all 3 discs already, they just have different FMVs on them.)
Games now are (generally) much larger and more complex than they were in the 90s. At least today a janky game can be patched, where as most games back then you were just SOL when it came to jank and bugs.

Bounty hunter pucks are not holocrons. They have a holographic element to them but they're not holographic archives used by the Jedi and Sith. They basically just contain information on the bounty and you don't need to use the Force to access them.

Solving puzzles in both of these games take me out of the immersion. Having to solve puzzles with the force would be like washing your car or mowing the lawn with the force. I'm a Jedi, a puzzle solution in human form, I should be able to walk into a room and make the puzzle solve itself.

It confused me when cal says "your rebuilding the archives" the only mention of the archives i remember is in a comic where the librarian from the second movie who help kanobi find the clones after order 66 makes a new archive because she remembers all the records and then before she died she deleted the original archives

Play on Jedi Grandmaster, having access to all stances on the fly would be very overpowered. They would need enemies like in the Ghost of Tsushima DLC that makes you switch between them to balance it some. Btw what’s the deal with playing on an easy difficulty (is that story mode?) and then it’s a problem for not being difficult? You fall and hit your head?

Hot swapping like that would work, if they accounted for in the enemy and encounter design. I think that honestly would've been way more fun, cause I genuinely just tick to like two stances on each playthrough & rarely feel required to switch tings up.

Dude as an old as hell fan I love that the new SW is bringing in the old stuff in probably a new way that needs to do some conforming and is probably being adjusted to not pay for royalties etc. BUT! Thrawn. Dark Troopers. I'm replaying Dark Forces which has a nice lil tidy fan made adjustment via the force engine. So while SW francise is doing a lot of new random stuff it's invigorating a new gen to get the old stuff to keep kicking ass.
Speaking of: i fucking fan boyed hard as hell when I saw Skywalker just tear apart dark troopers. LIKE A JEDI. While I as not jedi kyle katarn had to use a damn assault cannon to take those fuckers down.

The thing is, there ARE alloys that are resistant to lightsaber blades, so making a crossguard out of those metals WOULD make sense.

I loved the game except for those force tears. . Trying to dash and flip on lines and through security fields was a pain in the ass. Also finding a chest with facial hair unlocks is dumb. There should be an upgrade to the lightsaber or something that you can find that is useful or something more for survival

Maybe even have him just say fuck it and lay a beatdown on this rando Jedi who won't matter at all.

That is capitalism, regarding the first minute of the video. Culture is part of an industry, hence it must always produce content to make money for the IP holders. Because people change and so do the tides of politics what is produced also change. Let's not pretend that George Lucas was not monetizing SW like Disney is. He did games, he did comics and he also did a christimas special. Many of them were pretty bad, yet here we are throwing stones at Disney because they are the "evil empire".

I honestly think Fallen order and Survivor are the best Star Wars game, I like its like it's own thing. I love the inclusion of a Night Sister, Mirren is fucking awesome and I always loved them and I like that they're finally realizing its fucking dumb to tell the Jedi they can't fall in love or marry...if they would of just let Anakin be with Padme, he probably wouldn't of ever become Darth Vader. This is a better story then all 3 of the "newest" Star Wars stories. I'm all about following Cal and his adventures. Its definitely not perfect but I feel like this added to the universe in a good way. Just my opinion if you don't like the games I get it, I think my Night Sister bias increases my love.❤
Edit: The one thing I hate most is everyone is a secret Jedi, its not surprising when that happens and I saw Bode I knew he was going to turn on us and be a former Jedi.

one more time, the first sin needed at least 3 minutes, also i like the inquisitors, but considering everyone of them hast the same customes, powers and the same lightsaber design, couldn't they design a special sith for this game, i mean in the power of the force, darth desolous and darth phobos had different powers
ive played it on ps5 thru from day 1 releaser and i had lots of fun in it.
