Hello dii, I'm done with my basics in quants and have a formula book ready. I have completed my basics from Arun Sharma and have solved LOD 1 and 2 while covering them. I also have access to quants booklets from TIMES which have theory and some basic question. Now I'm not able to decide should I start with Arun Sharma again and revise important questions or should I use TIMES booklet? Also should I go through basics in TIMES booklet? Is there any difference between the basics covered in these booklets and Arun Sharma? Thank you.
Hi Mayank, To answer your first query, I think there's no need to go through Arun Sharma's questions again if you've already created a formula book out of them. Instead revise the formula book as per this schedule - www.non-engineer.com/post/tactics-of-revision-for-common-admission-test-cat If you feel there is a need to practice more questions, then prefer to solve sectional tests (if available). You can also use the TIME material but as you mentioned in your second query, they'll be very similar to Arun Sharma LOD 1 questions. In that case, jump directly to exercise (2) or (b) of TIME material.
im 17, im preparing for the IPMAT exam, does the above apply to me exactly? i also have to focus on JEE pls suggest how should i proceed without wasting time on concepts not required for it.thanks a lot!

And should i first finish one book and after that move on to another. Like first i finish Quant. And then after that i move on to Verbal. Or should i give 2-3 hours to each subject daily. Sometimes these questions feels so difficult to solve and it feels like giving up on solving the LODs. It takes a lot of time for me to finish even a single chapter. The exam is in November and i feel like i have studied nothing.
Hi, I’ve done Arun Sharma once (except Geometry) and I’ve exhausted the coaching material that I’ve. So, do you suggest to do LOD2 of Arun sharma again ? Thanks in advance.
There's no need unless you find yourself weak in any particular area. Rather spend your time on revision, sectional tests, mock tests, etc. If you feel you need more questions to practice before appearing for the next mock (in case there's a concept you couldn't handle well in the previous mock), then do LOD 1/2 of that topic from Arun Sharma, else not required.

Hi, I am a student taking coaching from an institute and solving their quant material. Though I started preparing around 20 days ago, for the 4 chapters I covered exhaustively from the institute's material, I am weak in 2 chapters (I know this because of sectional test scores and my overall confidence in them). Hey Shivansh, Thank you so much for your kind words. To answer your query, I don't think the solved questions are sufficient because they don't cover all the types. Instead, what you can do is focus on LOD 1 and that too different types within the exercise. If you see that a type has 5-6 questions, solve 1-2 and if you feel confident, skip similar questions.
