Easy Crochet Triangle scarf / shawl

Learn to make a beautiful vintage style crochet triangle scarf. This piece works beautifully as a scarf but could also easily be worn as a shawl.

Note: I am self taught and this is my first time crocheting something like this so I am still learning some of the terminology. Sorry if this causes confusion for you more experienced crocheters! thank you for helping me out in the comments, I learn a lot from you :)
corrections:
-what I call the 'backwards single crochet' is actually the 'crab stitch'.
-when I mention the 'corner', it is actually called the 'center' in a pattern like this.
Materials:
-3 skeins of Yarn Bee Yarntopia yarn. (approximately 850 yards)
(In the video I said you would need 5-6 but I did the math wrong. SORRY)
-7mm crochet hook
-yarn needle
-scissors
*you can use whatever yarn and hook you want for this pattern, I simply recommend that you use a hook that is 3 sizes larger than recommended on the yarn packaging.
