Nathan Fake - Outhouse 2023

I can't believe it's been TWENTY YEARS since my first ever release "Outhouse" came out on the now legendary Border Community Recordings!!! Wow. To celebrate this, I've done a new version of it. I've been playing it in my live sets recently, been lots of fun. It has exciting new drums and a more acidic bassline but still very much has the charm of the original. I hope you love it like I love it 💚

the fluffy mix is to me, still in 2025, the unquestionable best electronic music track ever produced and it's been 20 years (!) for me that I listened to this for the first time (on Balance 005, to this day the best mix CD ever made too). gives me the chills, every single mf time. thank you. I still have that picture we took when you played The Arches in Glasgow in 2009, you were wearing an Iceland pattern brown sweatshirt. Good times :')
