Then years later I got a 83 Delta 88 and that bad boy was nice had a blue fender and a different color Hood but she was sweet put a lot of miles on that thing going to work and back my dad always had Oldsmobiles except for the 57 Galaxy I remember that was sweet and then after the one old he finally got a 73 no excuse me 1971 Delta 88 green his mother got it formed brought it up from Kentucky I think his brother brought it up then he got 73 yellow Delta 88 just like in that Spider-Man movie from Tobey Maguire was in when his uncle got hijacked that had a 455 4 barrel in it that thing was a beast beautiful condition and he really took care of that engine I would have loved to inherited that car and I had a 75 eldorado that had a 500 in it several other different cars 77 black Monte Carlo the factory open and close nice 79 Ford fiesta 1983 Ford pickup a 250 with a straight 6 in it with a stick that truck was fantastic ran forever 350,000 miles on it actually more than that and I had a 1991 BMW 750 IL with a 12 cylinder in it you can eat it off the engine it was so clean solid silver loaded when you hit the windshield wipers and power wash the headlights with little wipers the sound system was out of this world and now I have well I had a crown from my sweetheart eat it that passed away and then I bought her 2003 Ford lightning with that mad Max blower in it I still have that they did an incredible paint job on those factory looks beautiful there are other cars too but I got to go 91 Ford Marquis too that was a sweet beautiful car
I had a 71 Vista cruiser Cutlass supreme had a 350 rocket in it it was green with wood grain on the side I shoveled the ladies driveway for free and would get out of there before the summer come up whenever I could and I was there doing it one day and all my friends wanted to leave and go to make money and she was behind the gate and she opened it and yelled at him he does a good deed he's going to get something they all looked at her and laughs and she said come here and she said you can have the 71 olds wagon or a 71 Ford I took the Oldsmobile and loaded up my friends like 13 of them and went down to Detroit to see concerts all the time between or the freedom festival between 81 and 84 I live about 18 miles west of Detroit in the suburbs
My interior on that Vista cruiser had a bench seat and I don't know how Arnold Schwarzenegger in the movie eraser drove that thing because it seemed like the seat needed to go back further and I had it all the way back and I'm only 5'11
My engine didn't look like that though it was a factory air cleaner and it said 350 rocket and black lettering on white paper it look like as you went around the air cleaner on the top it was a two barrel and baby I'll tell you what that thing moved and it didn't squeak and rock all over like you think of wagon would that road so nice one time I was going home after having some drinks in like 1982 and it was very icy out and snowy and like a fool I was going around 80 and a lost control no traffic at all and I had to spin the wheel to the left and spin it to the right spend it to the left spinning to the right spin it to the left spin it to the right and then slid sideways going straight but going from the right lane all the way to the other side five Lanes back and forth and then finally the wagon stopped and my heart was going to blow out of my chest I couldn't believe what I just went through and like a fool I shouldn't have been doing what I've done very very fortunate that I didn't hurt nobody get hurt or get pulled over never done that again always grandma and after that
None of those seats look like my seats in the original and this video should show the tailgate opening like it is and then shut it and open it the other way where it swings around you used to open two different ways and you can see where the bumpers cut out where used to be able to put your foot up as you climbed in and it had rubber there
Feeling nostalgic for this and hope one day I can cross paths with this again.
I’d love one of these!
Hanging out, down the street, the same old thing, we did last week
Not a thing to do but talk to you
we’re all alright! We’re all alright!

Sweet.
GV Overdrive unit and maybe a set of 4.11 gears is all I would do, possibly a set of Magnum 500 wheels with some better rubber.

I've never SEEN OR remember a station wagon WITH front buckets AS standard equipment.....
