it’s interesting to see how the new mw2 has good size maps that if u have a route can still be crossed fast, so it actually feels like there is room to move and choke points to hold while still giving a few avenues for players to push super fast. as opposed to the new mw3 and bo6 where the maps all are so small they can legit be crossed in under 10 seconds and a very much tightly compact so there is very little space to maneuver, i haven’t been a fan of playing cod but if all my friends get it or its on game pass i play, despite this i played mw2 waaayyyy more and on my own even than bo6 and i never touched mw3 bc they just feel way too like ADD and chaotic, i don’t think allowing slide cancels and omni movement is a good thing i think it has the opposite affect and really restricts playability, its not like when u can’t slide cancel u have to at least be aware, or u have to jus slow down a little, it rewards people who have their sensitivity cranked up and using the 3 or 4 meta guns that kill the fastest shoot the straightest w no recoil, there isnt really anything about those maps or guns that stand out bc all they are good for is spastically running around, i dont remember 95% of the guns from cods now not bc of renaming them but bc so often they are just forgettable all it is is shooting super fast w no recoil and high mobility, or 1 shoting people w high mobility. all while running around maps that are so closing in on shipment sized or maps that they came out with 10 fuckin years ago bc they can’t actually design anything unique anymore
