Okay honestly. Liu Hongyu Shot G was an incredible and absolut perfect recreation. Why didnt you give yourself a 10/10 recreation accuracy? It simply doesnt get any better

Thanks for the great snooker content and shutout from Kharkiv, Ukraine! It's almost impossible to find a snooker table here, so watching it is all I've got :D

Amazing shot in the world only Judd Trump. From 21 minute video Judd Trump shot 5 times. Even Ronnie can win 7 title world championship but NO one snooker player can beat Judd Trump shot.

You provide so much for the snooker community and have almost 400k subscribers. I think its absolutely fair to put up a paypal link to have a recloth sponsored by us.
Also, you are one of the most popular channels for snooker, shouldnt the league recognize you and maybe invite you to recreate shots during pre-game airtime?
    We should make both happen!

Not sure to what level you play at, top amateur/possible semi-pro, but recreating some of these shots is testament to just how good the elite professionals are, and your own talent too. Best shot I've seen you recreate is the unbelievable Stephen Lee blue ball potted in the right middle, screw off bottom left/top cushions and across the table to slip behind the red on the bottom right cushion. The cueing was phenomenal, as is often the case with any shots from Stephen Lee.
All I'll say is that if you have a Mrs, she's got the patience of a Saint, you must sleep on that snooker table and only leave the room momentarily to be able to pull these shots off, bravo

Which vid was the Stephen Lee blue recreation in?

    • @mikeabba1990
      @mikeabba1990 2 месяца назад

@@AD-kv9kj Absolutely ridiculous shot. To screw the white so far down the table and towards the bottom left pocket with the angle he had on the blue is nothing short of witchcraft. The recent 'Chinese cliques' to be banned doesn't particularly bother me to be honest. It's a shame, for them to be foolish enough to put themselves in the situation they've wound up in, but I don't see the matches they've played in and 'miss' their snooker. They've robbed themselves, not the fans. Stephen Lee has robbed anyone and everyone who enjoys the game, more so than even himself. He could pull off shots nobody else could, make the white 'do lots' with very little. People take the mick but this guy could play, make no mistake

    Always good stuff, mate.
Time for a reslate/cloth! I know it's expensive but can now visibly see the pit arund the black spot and the worn paths of the black into both pockets. I'm sure you're aware of that!

Another great video! A couple of weeks ago I was on the train going through Croydon with my cue and met a man and his son who had travelled from abroad to the UK. They were big snooker fans, had visited Parris Cues and were trying to find out where to play. Got on to how the internet is helping grow the community and was delighted that the son at least watched this channel and Stephen Hendry's. Was really nice to have a mutual appreciation of what you make! Hope they got a game in.

This format is so great and I have watched every single video of it. 😊
The ratings always bugged me a bit, though. You introduce your video as "as accurately as possible [recreation accuracy - covered as a score; fine], and in the fewest possible attempts [ *ignored in the scoring* ]". In my mind, it always would have made sense to combine both (1) number of attempts and (2) recreation accuracy of the successful one into a rating of difficulty of the shot. I.e., in a formula: (# attempts) x (recreation accuracy) = (difficulty of the shot) wherein "x" means "times", i.e., a multiplication.

Great video, love seeing all the recreations. On a side note, it’s ironic to see Kyren Wilson attempting that pink off the bottom cushion (he played a similar shot in the decider vs Antony McGill a few years ago)

Love your videos but I have to say any recreation where you have to hit at 100% power you might aswell be jumping while hitting the shot. Surely you know you need to stay still, stay down and the power is generated by your cue action not how hard you can swing your arm. Your sacrificing timing in favour of power when timing is what you want.

the ma hailong recreation shows how hard these shots actually are bc you have to be able to do it reliably and under pressure. would be interesting to see you try occasionally to repeat a shot if you feel like you've been exceptionally lucky (not too often, that would be cruel lmao)

00:42 just my own opinion but it looks like your cue is far too short for you. It’s the first thing I notice when I’m watching your videos, your arm and elbow are already at a delivery position when you’re down on the shot it’s far too forward. Basically looks like you have already delivered the cue before you have even hit the cue ball therefore your full arm is having to push through your body to get any type of action. I’ve never commented on your videos before but it’s always bothered me because you tend you jump up on some shots when you’re trying to screw back from distance. You can’t get through the ball properly and try to throw your body at the shot to get power. Not meaning to sound negative tho I think your videos are cool and good for snooker

  • @dx5784

lol you call your first one a 9 accuracy when the ball's angle is not quite right, way too generous there

You should give away some ‘Break from Life’ keyrings to your viewers like ‘DJ Audits’ does mate.
It would increase your viewers, spread the word about your channel and it wouldn’t cost much to do either.
Let’s say, a free keyring to the first 5 viewers to comment on your videos or the first viewer to find a hidden keyring in your snooker room during the video…..mix it up with something different every time, the novelty of it would keep people watching and increase views, clicks, like etc 👍 ps anyway, just a thought and best wishes from CRUMLIN, County Antrim…..it’s a town 6 miles away from Antrim Town which is where Mark Allen comes from ☘️
