Fair warning to folks going to Moab. If you take a heavy bike there, you dramatically increase your risk of injury. That slick rock is VERY unforgiving to bike and body. I've recently returned with a torn/strained achilles. Moab is subtle, it seems easy, until it isn't. Being an idiot there could mess you up bad. My injury came from a very steep climb and I pushed my foot out, instead of dirt and rocks giving way, the slick rock didn't and instead strained the calf and achilles. This was on day 5 of a 23 day trip, so I had to hobble and limp to the remainder of my rides.
Hey we did this and had a guy that did the same thing. with about 12 hose clamps and some seriuos re engineering we got him out the way we came in LOL. Broke the bars same side.
Hey Mark, Yeah at first it was all about the challenge of taking these beasts where they shouldn't go. After years of getting beat up from that nonsense, I pretty much only ride trials now. One extreme to the other.

Yeah, but you effed yourself up in Florence on a 300 so there's no real safety to be had on a dirtbike.😂
These crazies shoved a bunch of stuff in the handlebar and then zip-tied it together if I remember right ;)
There is a link to the ride report in the video description. The report has more than you will ever need to know. :)
Fantastic
Looks more for something 300cc 2-T than for those ocean liners. I have a 690 and it would be to heavy.
For a 990/950 this is a stroll in the park
That's crazy doing these gnarly hills on suck heavy bikes. I feel way more confident when I'm on a lighter bike.
Such*
Hellz yeah!

That sound. Ouch.
Hell of a trip, this and earlier videos!
Looks like a broken handle bar at the end though, how did you get the bike out?

Do you like the challenge of these big heavy bikes or do you have another reason to not ride a light enduro?
