- Put your serger's flatlock to good use with this perfect finished edge option, designed to mimic the look of a blanket stitch. Create this pre-set stitch along the edge of fabric layered under stabilizer; once the stitching is complete, pull the stabilizer over and off the edge of the fabric, pulling the stitching to the edge. Use this stitch for blanket-stitch finished baby blankets, toweling, a couture-look jacket edge and much more. Like this video if you love the idea of programming a blanket stitch pre-set into your serger!
