America literally warned Japan that they were going to nuke the city and told the Japanese government to evacuate people. The Japanese government rolled its eyes and didn't inform their own citizens. I'm not saying it was the right thing to do, but it was a response to Pearl Harbor and meant to swifty end WWII. America was not involved in the war until they were directly attacked. They didn't want to use nukes, but once they were dragged into the war, they felt compelled to end it quickly.

No, that's what we know based on information coming from all sides. Even the Japanese still haven't forgiven their government. I lived in Japan for two and a half years and visited the bomb sites. You'd be shocked to know how much the Japanese government hid from their people. All of those citizens could've survived if the Japanese government warned the cities and evacuated.

If agreement is broken from nato side(they already did that few times) russia have no obligations to keep theyr side of a deal.
