According to the distance, I think its fare is more than the Rajdhani n Shatabdi also.

My suggestion is ,
First Convert first 3 coaches of the all 15 car trains into AC coaches, that way the entire train need not be modified into AC and go empty, also 3 vestibule connected coaches can be easily managed for trespass
50Rupees are enough for ac train..
That's even lower than first class which provides nothing but cushion seats.

I want ac local to have more frequency, in rush hours an option like this is required. Between 8amto 11am and so by evening between 6pm to 10pm, Right now the frequency is so less.
But I Don't Understand Why The Hell There is Normal Second Seats In AC Local At Least The Seats Should Have Been Upgraded To The First Class Ones Then It Could Have Been Worth Travelling.

The thing which i like about this train is that the doors are closed which is really going to help in reducing the accidents in which thousands ofpeople die.
In Kolkata we have AC metro like but it's maximum cost of the ticket is 20 INR so, Kolkata metro is the best😀😀😀😀

Change the seating designs like the metro to accommodate more people and keep safety,it makes alot of difference,one voice can't do much but a bunch of people can change this traditional concept.

actually that 15 rs ticket is highly subsidized for common man usage. You also look at first class ticket even they are subsidized.
For Car users, it's actually cheap timewise as well as price wise....cheaper than carpooling too

Ticket price is way too high, should be lower than first class but higher than second class. The price was fixed higher to target private cab travelers but it's not working that way. No point running empty.

lol the price of ticket is so high as same u compare to AC bus it's much less
AC buses now have become even cheaper and AC train fares have gone up to 180 till Borivali (from Churchgate). In fact IIRC it is even more expensive per km than Mumbai metro.

Dude you have to pay 165rs for a one way trip, whereas the normal fare is 15rs.
Who will even pay for that, yaha bc 5rs ki chai ke liye ladte hai, do u believe people will pay extra 140rs for some ac adventure.

Public bhi esi hai chup ho ke baith jaati hai AC Bus fare Rs 200! In delhi in this much amount you can travel Haryana to UP in AC public Transport.
