My kids and son-in-law gave me this watch for Christmas/retirement, and I wanted to know more about it. This video filled the bill - thanks for a very thorough review and analysis. It's my first (non-Citizen) Swiss watch...and I really like it. Wearing it now with the beautiful steel band. I have 6 or 7 other watches in my rotation, but this one is the most elegagnt and stylish. I'm going to wear it several days in a row this week to see how good the time accuracy is, how often I have to wind it. Thanks again.
Lovely watch, big fan of that bracelet. Although it's not a dive watch I would have expected a better lume on this one, especially at this price point.
I hope its better than Oris fit and finish as that was a little disappointing with the sixty five bezel and unnecessarily superextended crystal. It seems much more impressive
A great review! I must confess I really like the look of this watch, the open heart at 12 works really well as does the globe effect on the black dial. Lume wise it is not a dive watch but having it there certainly helps with reading the time in daylight when wearing a dark outfit as sliver hands (unless beveled or brushed) would often just tun dark and make them blend into the black dial. OK on the timegrapher it's a tad fast but not too fast in my view, as you say with the proven workhorse Sellita based movement it can be regulated by most watch makers or by yourself if you know what you are doing but you would probably loose the warranty. +15s for me would not justify that. Cost wise it's up against Longines prices for some models and pitting this one against say the Longines Sector dial with the same movement base if I recall correctly I think I think I may go for the Longines but given these are totally different watches that would be a hard choice if there could be only one. EDIT: Original comment mentioned Oris, this should have been Longines Sector dial. Not enough coffee. Thanks E&W for the notification.
@@EscapementWatch Whoops, apologies, too many watch reviews. I should have said Longines Sector Dial. My bad. Substitute Oris in my comment for Longines :-) Original comment has now been updated. Thanks E&W for spotting it.
@@EscapementWatch So far the (insert name here) Sector dial is on the top of my list. Oris must have been on my mind as my pointer date red dial is next on my watch rotation for wearing tomorrow.
Is this simply the blue dial version (FC-310N4NH6B)? The shots in this video make it look much darker with glimmers of blue in direct light, rather than the brighter, uniform blue in the press photos.
Does that look as blue in person as it does on camera? I thought it was a blue dial ! I hate to have to admit this but I do not like perlage , so that open heart feature didn’t float my boat, but I love the dial pattern. Interesting company. They seem to make every possible style. Whether that’s a good thing or a bad thing is I guess up to interpretation. But I always learn something here. That bit about them not trademarking the open heart is interesting. I would have guessed that Hamilton for example would have preceded this by a while. Great review despite the sad trombone Timegrapher moment 😉
Hey, I really like your videos! Would you be able to review the Mido Ocean Star 200C? It looks great, but there are almost no reviews of it on youtube apart from 1 or 2 in German and a few in Chinese.

If you wear it daily no need to wind it up. Only from dead stop give it about 5-7 slow gentle winds and let the automatic rotor top it up.
Swiss watch fans you are going to love this one! What a LOOKER! -falling
When you say full review, you mean FULL review! Awesome video, been considering this watch and now definitely want one!
Glad it was helpful!
Really cool watch! Nice review, glad I found this channel. Looking forward to more FC content.

Thanks for the review Aiden. This FC is pretty nice!
Any time!

You should!
This is super clean 💎
STUNNING!!!!
Really nice watch! I rarely like dress watches, but this one really stands out to me, nice.
Agreed!
Music name at the beginning please?

FC is such an underrated brand although they make high quality pieces in affordable price category.
This “underrated” comment with almost every RUclips video is so overrated.
@@Keyser_Soze739 yeah but it‘s true
Yes it does look like VC overseas ,great timepieces for the money ,thanks ❤️👍🏴
What was the song used at the beginning of the video?

Glad you like them! But unfortunately we do not have access to the Mido line of watches.
beautiful job on video review
Great review, thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I would certainly hope a watch in this price range doesnt have a 'ghost' crown position! 🙄
not a real integrated but nice
Love the other one but I absolutely hate this one, am I the only person that is sick of open heart watches?
