Wow, my friend, you are a ✨️Generous Genius✨️ ! I have been playing the piano since 9 (and I dare not share my present age 😁), but was always fearful of extending my playing scope beyond the keys of C, Db, D, Eb, F, G, Ab and Bb. However, after seeing your ⭐️insightful tutorial⭐️ last night, I began to "mentally connect" M, m, m, 4th, 5th, m, m for the keys of E, Gb, A, and B. Thank you so much my friend for helping me to strategically learn something that I thought was so difficult. ✌🏽 I will continue to practice in these "new keys" 😁 until I am more proficient. 👍🏼 Thank you so much for ✨️enlightening✨️ me. I am grateful to GOD 🤚🏽🤚🏽🤚🏽 for all you do to help other musicians grow in our God-given gifts. So grateful ! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Definitely the most helpful video I've seen on this. It makes so much sense now. I've always known how to play my diatonic scale but it was taking a long time to just connect it with th chords on each key. This video really helped. Thank you very much
The forth key in the Ab Major scale is Db and not C# even though the black key between the C and the D could mean either C# or Db. But in principle and for easy understanding, it is Db and not C#. In Ab Major Scale, we have 4 flats and they are Ab, Bb, Db and Eb. We don't have C# in the scale of Ab Major. However, your teaching is one of the best around, especially when finding the right Chords for a melody. Keep it up.
Boss I have always been confused about the chord progressions but I think if I am going abide by this stuff I will soon be following the chord progression of a song.
Jesus! You started 2020? That was when I started learning piano during Covid-19 lockdown, but feel like I am not improving. What must I do to get better like you? Thanks in advance for your reply.
Is it okay to apply this technique to practice a newly learned chord in all 12 keys let say extended or altered chord. If there is another technique you use to add this chord to your vocabulary can you do.a video on how to practice this new chords
