Its been a while since you have heard from us as we left Panama in December 2023 due to our daughter being Autistic and we had to go back to South Africa to get her professionally treated. We have had to put our house and piece of land in Panama up for sale as this will be a long term thing and we are not sure when we will be able to return. Whoever buys both can be living in paradise on 2 hectares of level land right on the main river. We bought it with subsistence farming in mind. It has the most fertile soil and everything grows like crazy. The water well provides water throughout the year and there is even fiber cable. The property is situated roughly between David and Boquete so you have the best of both worlds being able to travel to David and Federal Mall for everything you need, and also going to Boquete for restaurants etc.
Electricity is connected (we paid $5200 just for that), occupational certificate is available and we also have plans for extensions and the house has the necessary metal in the walls to accommodate the doors when doing the extensions.
So what is being sold is an incredible deal - we have already reduced the price drastically and are looking for someone preferable to buy both properties although we will consider purchase of the properties separately. The properties are priced below where they should be for a quick sale. This house was built solid as a rock, foundations crazy solid and it was built with a mindset that we would be living there forever so everything was done properly.

Sad to see that you are selling the property. So much effort went into developing the site and building the house. Why are you selling?
We arrived in Panama when our daughter was 2... she was very busy and she didn't settle at the school and no-one could help her. We paid for a full time facilitator during school hours as well and we realised something was wrong. Turns out she's autistic and we couldn't get the help she needed in Panama. So we had to leave to come back here to get professionals to help her and there is a huge improvement. Should we have stayed in Panama she would have had huge difficulties to overcome and no assistance... Needs to much help with speech therapy, OT therapy, meds and monthly visits with her doctors and also educational psychologist etc. It hasn't been easy but we know we did the right thing because she's the whole reason we moved to Panama and she's the reason we moved back to South Africa. We'll miss the house, yes. But no choice.

Our daughter is autistic. Couldn't get the help we needed in Panama for her. Here in South Africa there is plenty assistance available but even with that its a difficult road but just to see her finally happy again helps a lot. We couldn't even get a diagnosis for her in Panama and it was very difficult to get help. If we didn't come back here for her - she'd be a lost soul.
