This colorway was released for the 2018 World Cup as part of the “Just Do It Pack” and this was the final colorway of the Magista line which shortly after was replaced by the Phantom Vision. Definitely one of my favorite tournament colorway packs that Nike released up there with the 2010 and 2014 World Cup boots along with the Euro 2012 Clash Pack. I say the tiempo legend 7 elite from that pack is my favorite given I am a sucker for white colored tiempos but the Magista specifically the opus 2(version two) or as they called “Obra elite low” is my second favorite. Still remembered Kevin De bruyne scoring a screamer against Brazil wearing these

I feel that dampened/disconnected feel as well. I feel that they made up for that in performance on the ball.

Never got my hands on a Obra 2, but did get the Opus 2 in the launch heatmap colorway. Great pair of boots. Love the silhouette and shape of the Magista boots. Very tiempo-esque.

Had these and also the low cut and could never get myself to like them lol. Sold both a while ago. Have the legend 7 and the vapor 12 from this pack and while they’re absolutely beat, this pack was so clean. Nostalgic now from 2018 lol

Nice review. These were such an interesting direction that Nike took with these. I personally didn't like the fit and touch, but the colourway was excellent.

On the topic of the obra 2,it was never gonna be easy trying to match the success and hype of the OG Obra. From what I remembered the marketing for the Obra 2 wasn’t entirely strong from what they did with the Obra 1. Sales never really were high from what I’ve remembered. While I never wore any of the 2 Magista Obra models,from the reviews I’ve seen at the time and from 2 of my buddies in my team,some would say the boots were better than Obra 1 but 8 years since it’s release and 6 years after this colorway drop,not many people mentioned these as much as they should have
Agreed! Definitely not the same boot either, I feel the soleplate was better on these, but the upper moved away from the raw, socklike feeling the first one gave players

I never liked how padded these were, always felt super disconnected to the ball. Although passing was amazing, and fit was super comfortable. At that time opted for the tiempo legend 7 instead.

This might be a stupid question but do football boots change width you change the size, for example if there empty space and creasing in the mid foot/ toe box will decrease wrap around the foot better if I decrease in size
Not a stupid question at all mate! Yes, that's correct - the width will change proportional to the length.
