My dad is in prison in Va and was also in a facility with no air. It’s sad. At the end of the day, it’s unacceptable. By no means should they be living lavish, but should be treated like a human being.
What about ppl not in prison that don't have air conditioning bc they can't afford it?
@@cashtaylor9804 They deserve it too. Just because the people in prison (majority of the time) made a choice that lead them there doesn’t mean they deserve to be treated inhumanely. I’m not saying they deserve the best of the best. But food that isn’t expired, heating and air, something a little better than a cement or metal bed. Just because I think someone deserves better treatment doesn’t mean I think others don’t.
The truth is most prisons don't have air-conditioning and never have.

Prison is supposed to rehabilitate to torture people. My husband is in VA prison and the inhumane conditions in and outside of prison is disgusting. Especially when we are one of the richest countries.
Savannah needs to write a book! Dang girl!! That was SO WELL WRITTEN! When you and Chase were speaking of how your parents aren’t quitters, don’t have it in them, they definitely passed that on! Absolutely Beautiful, Savannah! I hope you can get someone with the ability, to listen!

I have missed Chase… but I’ve missed all y’all, especially how it was back in the day. Even if Chase feels like he gave enough of his life to everybody else he was by far a favorite of mine. I think because he reminds of my youngest son. He’s charismatic, funny, charming and always has a friendly face even when he didn’t feel friendly. Crazy to see how much all of you have grown up into wonderful, beautiful people. The world wouldn’t be the same without the Chrisleys in my opinion and I thank you for sharing your lives! Todd flaunting his fake "wealth" and laughing about his overspending. His high maintenance botox, veneers, blonde highlights in his 50's.. 😂 This experience will teach him a new attitude...HUMBLE him. And God knows he needs to be humbled to actually survive in there. But inmates are still human beings. Julie seems to be crumbling and flailing. Clinging to that medical building. Eventually though, she will have to come down to Earth or she will keep breaking down mentally and spiritually
I was in a federal prison in Danbury Connecticut and those jails are filthy and nasty and they are notified when the inspectors are coming so I know what your mom and dad are going through and I feel so bad for them I’m so sorry that they have to go through that

Former Corrections Officer- worked in a facility with no air, it's pretty common... is it miserable, yes. Inhumane, no. There's plenty of free people living in homes with no AC. As far as the other issues. Do they not have an ombudsman they can contact? The ombudsman should be... again SHOULD be doing an unbiased investigation into complaints.
Was the facility you worked at in One of the hottest areas in the United States? Would you live in black mold. ? I think not….. come on… Yes It’s inhumane!….. If you live in Florida I promise you… unless you’re homeless… your living with an Aircondition!

Tears come to my eyes thinking of your parents and your family dealing with this. Regardless of any crime committed love is unconditional, incarcerated people have loved ones who are hurting while their family member is in prison - deservedly or not.

Something has got to be done. While my son wasn't in a prison,he was in a jail that is one of the worse in my state. He was sick (which is a whole other problem I won't get into now) begged for help,the ignored his pleas and as a result of this he died. My worse nightmare as a mother. The worse pain one can ever experience. Not only do the jails and prisons need to be updated,all protocols need to be as well and the training of guards should be the top of the line training. Idc who's locked up. The prisons and jails are to keep all that are being held in their custody SAFE. PERIOD!

Their care is BS!! I don't care what crime you do, you are afforded humane conditions.
I was convicted of a crime I didn't commit. I went to prison for 6 months, thank God I got out 3 months early. So I know what your parents are going through. Im disabled and was not given my medication because I'm on opiates and was forced to have a bunk and second floor dorm.
I am praying for them and you guys. I miss hearing your dad talk.

I could tell you some nightmare stories from when my son was in TN state prisons. His only problem was that he had an addiction to drugs but he never got help. Sadly he passed away in 2019 from liver cancer that went undiagnosed while in those hell holes! I’m praying for y’all 😢🙏🏻🧡

I'm so happy to hear that you all are making progress for your parents. My ex husband is going thru the same situation and he completely 100% has no idea what's going on and yet same as your parents he's been found guilty and sentenced thru time. This sucks. I NEVER would've thought the government could be capable. I know a lot of other countries are corrupt BUT the freaking United States noooooo This is very difficult. We have kids same as your parents that were taking care of their kids and SNATCHED right from their life

This is what's been going on in prisons, here in TX there's no AC but our heat indexes are triple digits. I think this was a part of this family's journey so that they could step into prison rights/advocacy. (people need your voices to help them be heard in prison)

It doesnt matter if its federal prison or county jail the states are more worried about building more prisons than upkeeping what they got. Those guards and directors and even govenors of the states see anyone in the system as a hardened criminal and its sad im sorry you are dealing with this my family dealt with the system with my husband my prayers and love are with your family

I don't know if their parents are guilty or not, and I don't comment on their situation. But, I find it funny that Chase and Savanah care so much about prisoners now that their parents are serving time. I'm pretty sure that none of the Chrisley's gave a damn about prisoners before they became prisoners!!
You started out telling the truth, NONE OF US REALLY KNOW, except what has been publicized. There are ALWAYS instances of suppressing evidence. Then you go down the JUDGEMENTAL ROAD. I'll continue to serve jury duty, state, and federal. Everyone deserves the benefit of a doubt. Until WE ALL have seen the evidence, then we don't know. Until Todd & Julie are released or served their time, we don't know they but may become FIERCE ADVOCATES for peo0le in prison! I prefer to be positive & see the good in all people!

I really do love you guys and hope I get to meet ya’ll in the future when the time comes. I am really big fan of ya’ll as a family. I love how Savannah is working really hard get the justice her parents deserve with truths and facts and you never give up and not quitter either and I’m the same way. I hope that government systems does change and soon. Ya’ll are my favorite tv celebrities and nothing will ever change that.
Please don't equate the false and very dangerous "investigation" of the F.B.I. with your parent's case. I support you guys. Most of the D.O.J. are just doing their jobs. Especially F.B.I. agents.

Why?
I totally believe that your parents were punished more severely due to Todd calling ppl out for corruption. And life in prison is insane for the alleged crimes. We need to restructure our system to change people and stop using these places as slave labor.
🤣 if they'd admitted any guilt the the prosecutor would have done a plea deal..Lying pride goeth before the fall. The Lord can't abide a liar from one side of a mouth and saying His name out the other side.

I have been watching your families show from the very beginning ... I live in Australia and I still can't understand how your parents got so much time for what what they were accused of doing. Yet people like Josh Duggar was looking at children being abused and he got the same amount of time as your father did. It is so disturbing that your parents were sent to prison .. I hope that they can get a fair trial and that are back with you all... Keep your chins up

Ask yourselves was the crime worth it? Dont feel sorry for them because they were greedy and finally got caught.
And on top of that........flaunting their ill gotten gains.
