I took a break to play my own 5 Leagues from the borderlands game without filming. Then Ivan came out with the mech game (weaseltech) and I’ve been stuck playing that. I plan to revisit this most likely by end of April.

Great fight. Just wondering, did you try to seize initiative. I know they were at a -3, but theres always a lucky roll.
They certainly can gun down bad guys at range. You may have to throw a curve mission at them. Maybe they are caught in a high law level (to borrow from Traveller) area that only allows for concealeable weapons. That would get rough. Or a barfight, or what we used to call a Braveheart mission where everyone goes only hth.

FAQ on the Modiphius site says that grenades, including shell gun shots, can target a spot on the ground. Which allows positioning shots to affect more targets with secondary hits if you want.

@@jasonfreeman6317 yes mantic star saga core game has a ton of starting minis. Heros, soldiers scientists etc. or try to find a zombicide invader pledge. Those are the most bang for the buck in my opinion but it’s still a decent sized outlay

I don’t have these rules but isn’t there an “overwatch” option? Where you just have someone wait and shoot if an enemy comes into view/range?
