THAAAAAAAAAANK YOUUUUUUUU! 😪
Beautiful piece .... love it!
Wow this is an amazing YT Channel- totally subscribed... I am learning how to sight read & this is like the best site ever to help me with that... I really appreciate you & your channel- HAPPY THANKSGIVING.... I have a request tho since this is my 1st time on your channel- it may not be what you do... IF you take pieces to analyze from any source then I would like to recommend the following because it is a very popular piece that does so much with so little & that is not merely an awesome piece of music but a great learning tool for composition etc... and also it is performed on authentic instruments just as the composer had in his mind as he wrote the piece:
The work is the very popular Pachelbel Canon in D & the performance is by VOICES of MUSIC.... it is a masterpiece & that "interpretation" [read: 100% fidelity] is so amazing it renders me speechless every time I gravitate back to listening- which is like all the time.
That's my request & I am fine whether that works for this channel or not... I am really really thankful I found your channel & very fortunate for the hard work you do & provide to everyone so a new generation can appreciate these great composers & their beautiful music.
so SUBSCRIBED & BIG THUMBS UP!
Thanks for your kind words about my channel. I am delighted to know it is helpful. I would not normally do Pachelbel and I don't know the version you mention. I will try to find it and consider doing an analysis. It will take some time until I can post it. It takes a lot of work to do each analysis and I have a schedule of what I am doing some weeks in advance. I will certainly try to do it, perhaps by Feb 2024
@@composernotes Thanks for the reply here is the version I was talking about... I know if nothing else you will enjoy this exceptionally faithful rendition... I also have a screenshot of a portion of the original score if you want to see that let me know... VOM posted a link to it when there was a commentor who didn't understand the difference between the KEY & the pitch/tone or semitone/1/2 step or whole step of a note... so lucky all of us I saved that & can post it on my google drive or substack & give you a LINK if that is something you would like to see... HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
LINK to the BEST VERSION of the Pachelbel Canon you will EVER experience... enjoy the Holiday...

Tempo Indications:
1. Allegro vivace
2. meno Allegro
Tuning: 0c: A4 = 440Hz
Sounds like a finger exercise!
So what ?
Even Rachmaninoff,Chopin sounds
Very bland, like exercises
@@Jayantan846 If played unmusically.
the WTC series was written for learning and enjoyment, this is bound to be the case in a baroque prelude. most finger excercises I've seen don't have such a pious ending lol
It sounds like that because you are listening too horizontally. Bach's music is all about harmony and counterpoint, rather than the melody. If you want a more beautiful melody listen to Mozart or Schubert.
If you let it.@@Jayantan846
