Check the closest animal shelter just in case, my neighbor was evil and trapping and sending our cats to the pound for a couple years before we caught on. You never know just a suggestion

When she remarried and moved, five years later, she got a call that the animal shelter had found him (he was chipped). He stayed with us again from then on, but was getting old. She eventually had to move back to that same house a few years later and he disappeared again. It’s crazy how independent and adventurous some cats are. I just wish you could know what’s going through their heads when it’s a situation like these....

I'm doing okay! In a few minutes, because it is WAY too hot right now, I'm going out back to replant some pole beans. Yesterday planted some peas and will also plant more beets. So happy that my blackberries, elderberries and asparagus survived the flooding. Can't say as much for the house tho, but we'll take it until we can move away from the river!

My heart goes out to you for you losses, I know how difficult it was for me to lose mine, even tho they had long and happy lives for cats. Don’t see it as being tricky. You raise any dog around any animal they become accustom to that particular animal/animals and protects the property overall. Yes I agree they have a lot on their plate but it the long run it’s worth putting time into then loosing more animals

You guys need a Border Collie! Ours protected our cat when he went outdoors in our yard.
border collies are great i used to have two but in terms of protection there are much better dogs for the job.

I'm so sorry. Same thing happened here. Cats came up missing. Found out a red tailed hawk was catching them. It's sad but it's the circle of life and it throws in a few sharp turns. God Bless!

Omg your cats!! 😩 I’m so sorry to hear. A lot of us know the feeling... I had a tabby named Charlie & while we were moving, he got scared of all the raucous. We went back for dayyyss but he never did. Eventually we had to go, I was so hurt as a kid. 😓🧡 Love for Rusty & Outlander 🤞🏼🧡🐈🐈
