I started watching her 4 years ago so I saw her grow along with her line Krave Beauty. She said tamanu oil is really good in reducing hyperpigmentation (and sunspots!) She's incorporated oils in her great barrier relief which is like a barrier strengthening moisturizer. I'm not sure of you're up to it but could you try tamanu oil? Don't know if it would work for your skin but yea
I'm just living that 100% oil-free life, so I wouldn't personally use it! Also clogging takes time, so by the time you see it you forgot that it was the product you started using two months ago that created the mess, and are more likely to blame all kinds of other factors like diet and hormones...Sounds too stressful!
I also heard tamanu oil helps reduce acne and the scarring in a really short period of time ,people swear by it .i never tried now im using only AHA and a salicylic acid pimple treatment but fading acne scars take time.
@@OlenaBeley yeah I would personally also be that 100% oil free life but I've been wanted to try tamanu oil to fade the left over hyperpigmentation. I've been planning to incorporate niacinamide in my routine.

Or using another product to slide the tool, that doesn't need to be cleansed and won't harm the skin? I'm very curious on your suggestion! Thank you! ❤
Reaaaally cool video as always, Olena! Thanks for sharing and helping with all your knowledge🖤. I agree that healthy eating only would not help most people with acne. But I am wondering, what is the reason that it did help all those other people talking about how healthy eating or celery juice and things cleared their skin no matter the skincare?
Olena Beley No, just online. I do know for myself two years ago when I started taking DIM it cleared my whole face completely within two months. I took it for about 8months in total and then when I stopped the acne slowly came back again. I did try another brand of DIM after but didnt help anymore. Now using your skincare advice and being patient 😊
I love video's like this & i think you've written the best because of the range you've covered. Primer esp; its long been a confusion of mine as in spite of youtubers always using it & presenting "the best primer" type vids i dont think it makes a difference to application & longevity of make up.
Amy E Bakewell yay, thanks so much! ❤️🥳 I think primer truly comes down to personal preference - some people love it, some people wear it because marketing tells them to. 😊
Hi Olena ! i understand thay eye cream is not necessairy for hydrating under the eyes, but what about dark circles ? if eye creams are not good, what should we use for dark circles ? thank you so much :))
Remember Maddie Ziegler from Dance Moms and Sia's music videos? This is her now. Feel old yet? 😆 Kidding aside, do you mean facial oils as a specific product or all oils in general? I've been using cold pressed organic rosehip oil on my face and I think it really helped with fading my hyperpigmentation. Awesome video. I agree with most of what you've said. Just want to be clear with number 9. I'm a new subscriber. 😊
Jorick lol I wish I understood the reference! 😅 I mean facial oils and oils in general - facial oils are combinations of oils (Sunday Riley for example), and plain oils you know already. Re fading hyperpigmentation- time will also do that, so is it time or rosehip oil? A question most people don’t consider when using things like that. 😉 And thanks so much for subscribing! @@OlenaBeley It is the feel old yet meme. lol For fading scars, maybe both? I forgot to mention that rosehip oil might have also helped with healing wounds on my face. What, in your opinion, is a good cleanser for removing makeup? I work behind a makeup counter and can often wear a lot of heavy, full-coverage makeup, in addition to sunscreen, so I find one cleanse just isn't enough. I also found that microfiber cloths or any kind of makeup removing pad/towel were still far too harsh and aggravating on the skin, particularly cystic spots, because of the rubbing. I have always been an advocate of a double cleanse using either an oil or a balm, and will likely continue to be as this method is far more gentle on my skin and has helped reduce my acne, but I am curious to try a cleanser that can remove all of this?
Diana Rusnov she often talks about the Bioderma cleanser, the one in the pink bottle. At first I didn't think it'd work because I thought I needed a specific makeup-remover. But honestly, I find that it works great, even at removing makeup.
Vitamin C itself is really inexpensive and is accessible from say the Ordinary in many different forms. I'm not sold on it myself fully yet, but if you're looking for some antioxidant action then the price-point offers many options you can experiment with (slowly and carefully, of course!).
I never committed to use eye cream. Day cream/night cream... sometimes I just wanna try two different products so one in the morning one in the night. Is it waste of money? it is. Never use makeup wipes, primer & pore minimizing products. I prefer makeup w/o spf but I use whatever I can get. Choose the right color of foundation still the priority. I'll still use sunscreen under it anyway. There's a short period where I bought a bunch of face masks but I stopped. I still use the expensive one for kind of quick rescue if I over exfoliate or something happened but that's once in few months. I still use face oils (not as routine) but I really pay attention to what's inside and I don't use it by itself.
Hey thank you so much! A lot of your thoughts really make a lot of sense. However I wanted to know more about how oils aren't good for dry / dehydrated skins. Is it all essential oils or only some? For eg: I have recently (2 months) started using organic rosehip oil for face and neck under my moisturizer & it seems to have made my skin slightly softer, less stretchy & more hydrated than before. I use it thrice e a week, not everyday. And I have sensitive dry skin, with an oily t-zone. You think it's not recommended in the long run or it might clog pores?
is rose water bad for skin? i’m very confused some say it’s bad bc it contains rose oil in it naturally. i’ve been using it for a few days my skin looks really nice and glowy but you never know i needed to ask you are the only one i can trust :’) btw i have-had mild acne rosacea
This is the first video I found from your channel. And until this day I have been watched all your video. You are amazing. Now I can see my skin is getting better and of course I can saved my money from unnessecary skin stuff. Thank you so much Olena! I'm sorry for my bad grammar, I'm your new fans from Indonesia 😊
The three-step moisture method has cleared so much of my skin issues up in literally a week (acne, flakiness, uneven tone and texture), plus my skin actually feels supple and bouncy and MOISTURISED for the first time EVER. Can't believe the whole world doesn't already know about this! THANK YOU OLENA BELEY YOU HAVE CHANGED MY LIFE.
Heyyy, what should I use for eye puffiness? I was looking at the vichy eye serum and that one is supposed to help you with the puffiness cause it contains caffeine
To be honest, face oils are great. I’ve been using an organic one for a while now and my congestion prone skin has felt and looked soooo much better. No inflamed and painful pimples since. Makes me wonder if my skin just had a balance issue. Of course you have to be particular about what kinds of products you use; some ingredients, such as essential oils, can be irritating for some people. But our skin naturally has oils in it, and it just makes sense to replenish the oil content as well as the watery hydration. Besides, not all oils are pore-clogging. I’m glad if this info helps someone out there, but personally I couldn’t live without toner and face oil now. And I’m not talking about those rubbish drugstore toners, but thick and hydrating and essence-like Korean ones. Just use whatever works for you.
@@OlenaBeley here’s an update: my skin is doing much better than before. One key factor for sure is that I’ve been hydrating my skin more thoroughly. But also locking in the hydration and replenishing the oil-water balance of the skin! Of course if you’re super sensitive to oils, feel free to skip them. As for me and most likely a bunch of other people out there as well, the oil is a non-negotiable skincare step from now on.
@@OlenaBeley thank you for making this video. its so annoying trying to find info on how to make my skin clear while having all these shitty "advice" thrown at me. Especially stupid things like night and day cream like what? Imagine if they said night and day body soaps like 🤦🏾
I’m confused about the cleanser. I’ve tried dozens of cleansers from drugstore to high end over the last 10 years and I’ve never once had one that removed my makeup.
I have oily skin and if I use moisturizer + sunscreen + makeup it'll be too heavy and make my skin shiny faster than skipping the sunscreen and using a foundation with sunscreen in it. Besides, if you want to use sunscreen correctly you have to reapply it every 2 hours which is completely unrealistic cz I'd have to redo all my makeup multiple times a day (which is pretty complicated cz I have shit to cover up).
But how can you moisturize after actives if you don't use a toner? Based on your 3 step moisturizing , you need to use a liquid/waterly product before ha and moisturizer.
@@OlenaBeley isn't that like washing your actives? If i use retinol i dont want to splash my face with water after.. At least toner/ mist has some beneficial ingredients: ceramide, sodium hyaluronate, niacinamide etc (i m talking about good formulated ones not the witch Hazel/alcohol/fragranced shit)
What actives do you use and recommend for anti aging? What do you think of that new ingredient bakuchiol that’s supposed to be a retinol replacement? Do you have opinion about non toxic “natural” stuff versus conventional? I’m always trying to figure out what’s best. But causes so much stress
Ashley Hudson follow her on ig! She shares great advise and facts about skincare. Whether that is "natural", "non-toxic" or conventional. Seriously, follow her! She's amazing
I wear waterproof mascara otherwise I look like a raccoon and I have yet to find a water based cleanser that takes it off as gently as an oil based one.
1) eye cream
2) day cream/night cream
3) makeup wipes
4) face masks (especially cloth)
5) toner
6) primer
7) makeup w/ spf
8) pore minimizing products
9) face oils

There's a short period where I bought a bunch of face masks but I stopped. I still use the expensive one for kind of quick rescue if I over exfoliate or something happened but that's once in few months.
I still use face oils (not as routine) but I really pay attention to what's inside and I don't use it by itself.
Olena is the SKIN QUEEN 🙏❤️ common sense and honesty what more do you need?
Aw that's so kind!! Thanks so much darling!!
I do like pure Argan oil for my skin. It doesn’t feel clogging. But what cleansers would you recommend that also remove makeup?
A C Argan oil takes time to clog! Please refer to my other videos for cleanser recommendations 😉
I really suprised by eye cream and toner
Hi im new to your channel 🤗 are u a dermatologist or aesthetician?
This is the first video I found from your channel. And until this day I have been watched all your video.
You are amazing. Now I can see my skin is getting better and of course I can saved my money from unnessecary skin stuff.
Thank you so much Olena!
I'm sorry for my bad grammar, I'm your new fans from Indonesia 😊
Whoohoooo!! So happy to hear that! Thank you so much! 🙌❤️
Yaaaay!! So happy to hear that!! 🙌💖🥳✨
About this primer, I am wondering about buying one because of all the sunscreen I had except one wasn't good under make up 😔😪🤔
Is miscellar water a great make up remover? What kind of water based cleansers do you use people ? 😊
kindly suggest a good water-based cleanser you are talking about that is available in Pakistan!
Please update us in 2 months!
Can I use my salicylic acid based cleanser twice in evening routine lots of love ❤️ from India my clean skin expert queen
AMAZING!!!!
Aw thanks girl!! ❤️🙌🎉
Hi! What about devices such as Foreo?
Can you do video about face massage and drybrushing also?
What about face water-mist? So the moisturizer Will sink in?
Awh I’m so guilty of using the Thayers witch hazel toner but i thought it was good cause there’s no alcohol?!
What do you think about the “Good molecules” toner?
Should we avoid ALL type of masks like no masks in our weekly routine?
Reesha Riaz I would - literally not one of my clients not I personally use any masks whatsoever. They’re a true waste of time, money, and skin. 🙈😉
@@OlenaBeley thank you for making this video. its so annoying trying to find info on how to make my skin clear while having all these shitty "advice" thrown at me. Especially stupid things like night and day cream like what? Imagine if they said night and day body soaps like 🤦🏾
can you please suggest good moisterisers for oily acne pron skin ? please !
I’m confused about the cleanser. I’ve tried dozens of cleansers from drugstore to high end over the last 10 years and I’ve never once had one that removed my makeup.
I have lots of good recs on this channel 💁🏼♀️
I have oily skin and if I use moisturizer + sunscreen + makeup it'll be too heavy and make my skin shiny faster than skipping the sunscreen and using a foundation with sunscreen in it. Besides, if you want to use sunscreen correctly you have to reapply it every 2 hours which is completely unrealistic cz I'd have to redo all my makeup multiple times a day (which is pretty complicated cz I have shit to cover up).
It depends on the formulations of your products 😃
Hi olena mam can you suggest me bioderma sunscreen which should be best in Pakistan
you save my money😍
indah eka totally! 🤗💖👌
Ahah funny cz i dnt buy those things you just pointed out😂🤪✌🏽
But how can you moisturize after actives if you don't use a toner? Based on your 3 step moisturizing , you need to use a liquid/waterly product before ha and moisturizer.
AlionaV you use water, why toner?
@@OlenaBeley isn't that like washing your actives? If i use retinol i dont want to splash my face with water after.. At least toner/ mist has some beneficial ingredients: ceramide, sodium hyaluronate, niacinamide etc (i m talking about good formulated ones not the witch Hazel/alcohol/fragranced shit)
I remember you recommended squalane oil
what about squalane oil
how can i remove water proof mascara?
but toner preps your skin for moisturization?? it also removes dirt left after cleansing .. im confused now
Little Monster lol...
There shouldn't be any dirt left if your cleanser is a good one!
Thank you! I will check it out.
I already know all 9 but still i’m here watching this bcs thebomb.com ❤️
I wear waterproof mascara otherwise I look like a raccoon and I have yet to find a water based cleanser that takes it off as gently as an oil based one.
Olena olena olena i m missing uh ? 🥰🥰
