ABOUT DR. SAADIA ASGHAR KHAN:
Dr. Saadia Asghar Khan is a psychologist and an educator. She is also a graphic designer and photographer. She earned her doctorate in psychology and education from Columbia University, New York. She also earned an Ed.M (M.Ed.) in communication from Columbia University. She has an M.A. in communication arts with distinction from the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) in New York, with a focus on computer graphics, filmmaking, advertising and photography. She has a B.Design with distinction from the National College of Arts (NCA) in Pakistan, where she also taught. She has a B.A. in applied psychology and English literature from Kinnaird College.
Dr. Khan has served as an Assistant Professor of Psychology and Education at Columbia University. She has also served as a Senior Research Scientist at the Institute for Learning Technologies (ILT) at Columbia University. She has held postdoctoral research fellowship positions at Teachers College, Columbia University and at ASU. She was a research assistant to Dr. Ernst Z. Rothkopf at Columbia University. She was also the Senior Fellow of Arts, Education, Media, and Informed Citizenship at the Center for Children and Social Engagement in New York.
