    Food coma lol! Loved this video! Its tight edits, intense and luscious closeups of some of my favorite foods had me smiling with pleasure. You made the best of the cruise to nowhere.

    My mouth is watering after seeing all the wonderful food on your cruise. I was especially excited to see the calves liver, which I love and hope it's on the menu when I take my Viking cruise later this year. I always enjoy your food videos and sometime watch them twice !!!

      Liver is usually served the first night; watch for it! Interested to hear what you think about the new food format upcoming. Please weigh in on them.

    Amazing vid! I've had veal and liver but never calf liver. Another thing to add to my bucket list!

    Love these foodie videos Sheila, they are your forté. I devoured a rather overpriced Tuna Steak in Valparaiso today but it was yum! X

      I'm so spoiled with eating tuna, halibut, salmon, onboard ships that I rarely have to buy for myself. Of course, I'm always on a cruise

    I don't think I like calves' liver, but I indulged in lots and lots of foie gras while staying in a gite south of Bordeaux for months on end. Maybe I should try calves' liver again. The reason I say that is, everything else you like is what I would have chosen too.

      I order rare. (order almost everything rare ) Otherwise it tastes like rubber. Love foie gras as you can see from the many food vids.

    Is Lobster Night always at The Restaurant? Will there be multiple Lobster Nights for the cruise? How do we know in advance before the cruise starts so that we won't book the specialty restaurants on those yummm nights? Thank you Sheila! 😋😋😋

    • @SheilaSimkin
      @SheilaSimkin  5 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, it is always in the Restaurant. Usually 2 lobster nights but the only way to know in semi-advance is to wait until you board. Then go on the Viking ap, under food, and you'll see menus for entire cruise. Then change alternative reservations if you can. If ap isn't showing food, ask Reception to find out for you. Passengers usually change reservations; perhaps Chef's Table menu isn't to your liking, etc. So stop by restaurants throughout voyage to see if space is available, Have a WONDERFUL cruise! 😍

      They also offer steak, and I watch many passengers order them.

    Hi Sheila, how did you pass on those sticky buns?? I just got off Holland America and your food puts theirs to shame lol

    • @SheilaSimkin
      @SheilaSimkin  8 месяцев назад

      Where did you cruise? Tried the sticky bun but the caramel was too loose inside and not gooey. My sister sailed with HA, and she thought the food was good! No? Of course, we all have opinions.

      It was the calf's liver that really got him. Told him to move to another table if it bothered him that much. No one is going to keep me from my liver
