To all players chasing crit% crit damage don't frustrate yourself farming. His Xiao is an example. If you manage to get much higher attack and balance crit. You'll get more boost than 200 to 300 crit damage. Unless you can build all 3 high stats atk 2k+ , crit%, crit dmg.
My Xiao has 100% crit dmg and 60 something% crit rate on 2600 ATK ... And also like 1000 DEF He does 20K on his plunges and 10k - 16k on his elemental skill He's useable enough so I haven't bothered fixing his build lmao I'm not a Xiao main though

The stats for the artifacts should probably be atk%, anemo dmg, and crit dmg. Another set you can use instead of Glad is 2 Shimenawa's with 2 Venerer, same stats. Also, burst/E/Auto should be priority I think.
If you're planning to pull for the future shenhe's signature weapon. This build is gonna be insanely good since that weapon is packed with massive 741 base attack.
No, it would be worse because the only reason this build works is from PJWS (i had jade cutter before this if u wonder why the replies are on my ass) + Xiao giving critrate for free Calamity Queller has ATK% substat, xiao would have bad crit AND crit rate with those same artifacts
When I saw the thumbnail I was like “Oh maiden Xiao?” Then when I saw the artifact set and the stats I said “What’s wrong with that?” Then I realised the circlet.
Still using an atk circlet on my Ganyu to this day. Because all crit dmg circlets I got are crap. I guess, it all comes down to how high your artifacts substats (crit dmg) stack together. If your crit damage is high enough(200+ in my case), using an atk circlet is a viable option.
Now use Ocean Hued Clam on Xiao and Maiden's Beloved on HuTao, give raiden shogun Viridescent Venerer, give Bennett Raiden's artifacts, give Barbara Crimson Witch/ HuTao's artifacts because it sounds funny 2k likes?? Woa
Fun fact, having too much crit dmg stat will only lower your dps potential, its better to balance it out with other stat. Ideally get 2.5k atk, 230 crt dmg and 80% dmg bonus(either elemental/physical). If you exceed this numbers then you will get diminishing return. If you hit the ideal value of any of the stat then invest on the other stat
@@Aashutosh_579 Well, I mean, multiplying 1 by 100 means you get 100, but multiplying 10 by 50 gets you _500._ Simply doubling the lower stat and halving the higher stat gives you much more. Crit dmg is a bonus on top of your normal dmg, if you have 100% crit dmg, you will do 2 times your normal dmg, and if you have 200% crit dmg, you will do 3 times your normal dmg. If your normal damage is only a couple hundred or thousand anyways because you didn't invest in ATK, then your crits aren't going to do all that much damage either. If you do 2000 damage on normal attacks, and you have 200% crit dmg, you will do 6000 on critical strikes. If you do 4000 damage on normal attacks, and you have 100% crit dmg, you will do 8000 damage on critical attacks. Our team ain't got no Bennet, no Mona. I remember we got Amber, Noelle, Razor and Xiao so we also got no buffers or any resonances. I went to check the Xiao main's profile and saw freakin 2pc VV 2PC Glad 72CR/262CD 2.5k ATK C0 Xiao. I went like 😱. We finished the co op domain in less than a minute... fastest co op Ive ever had with Xiao main carrying us...
"I'm the corrosion" My bestfriend went as Xiao in this domain and I was her battery. We cleared that domain in less than a minute. He wasn't named 'Conqueror of Demons' for nothing.
My Xiao has almost 60% CRIT Rate and 250% CRIT Damage with 2000 ATK and does 40k to 60k damage depending on how many enemies he has defeated before. So I think Xiao is really good in this domain.

I feel you. I'm so proud of xiao bc he often gets complimented by coop strangers when I bring him in coop. Mine is on a 75-184 crit ratio with staff of homa, but I'm also working on getting him a crit dmg circlet as I'm currently using a crit rate one. I feel glad that mine still has room for improvement even when he's insanely strong already.
You should see that insane Xiao video named "what a perfect character looks like". That guy's crit stats is the real thing that everyone wants. But unfortunately not everyone are so lucky

As someone who farms that domain with Xiao, I've never come across anyone that questioned me taking Xiao into the domain but who would when my boy's doing 30k plunges? (with benny for healing and atk boost otherwise 25-28k plunges max)
As a xiao main, they literally asked me to use Xiao when I try to be a support especially on Azhdaha 🤣but kinda scary when suddenly all of them died except me,xiao main and a healer then the azhdaha has half of his hp
My xiao build has a 94% crit rate and 150 % crit damage but I still havent been lucky enough to find a good anemo goblet so I’m stuck with attack for now
and i thought i was crazy on crit rate with 82 lmaoo. respect though, consistency over anything else. sometimes my xiao will just decide to not do a crit hit 4 plunges in a row and it makes me wanna cry
Just pulled a double 5* Xiao ten pull and was really happy. Threw on random artifacts I had and after fully awakened (only level 80 tho) he has about 3,300 attack, 69% crit rate (nice), and 168% crit damage. This is with Staff of Homa. If I use the battle pass spear I can get it to 99% crit rate, however, the crit damage goes to 100% ultimately lowering the damage even though it crits always. Does about 48-50k per big dive and 30k something per little dive. Went from having a Yoimiya be my highest damage dealer to this monstrosity.
I don't have Xiao, but I always thought he can't get corrosion anyway because the wolves float really low on the ground, and they can't really hit you if you're always jumping.
Lol this literally my Xiao build in early 1.3, im using 4 pieces gladiator but no crit circlet, so im using atk with good sub stat, But trust me, its much more better with Crit DMG circlet

that's actually good. crit damage is based off of your ATK, so i would gladly say that lower crit dmg with higher atk can give you better damage rather than sacrificing ATK only for 300% crit damage.
@@mofumofu512 i personally dont care about flexing based on stats, cos i flex based on dmg, and with the only possible stats to get is either 300% cdmg + below 2k atk, or above 2k atk and 150-250% cdmg, I'd rather take the one with bigger dmg. Just fyi, every genshin players' most biggest mistake is only focusing on cdmg and forgetting what their skills, bursts, normals, and crits are based off of, it's literally ATK. (no offense tho, i respect ur opinion 👍)

Attack% substats starts to fall off late game when u are comparing it to something like cdmg which has a much higher point for DR comparatively. There's a reason why getting cdmg is much more valuable than getting atk% past roughly the 2.2k attack point.

All I'm saying is just that the higher atk u got, the less valuable it becomes comparatively to cdmg stats, with the break even point roughly at around 2.2k atk at base. So, u will most likely hit the DR cap having external means that buff atk in most cases, making it a stat that is less valuable with investment. Cdmg however, is much more valuable with investment, as not only is its DR ceiling much higher than atk%, bcuz u are extremely unlikely to reach the cap in normal means (i.e. buffer), making it most often the case the better stat. But of course, I do agree with u on the point that low atk like 1.5k atk is way too little, so before 2k atk, the best case is defnitely go with atk% before u hit the break even point, and focus on Cdmg once u are over the 2k marks. If u are interested, check out the KQM math and DR graph between Cdmg and Atk%, u will get a much better idea on their respective value with investment over time.
ive spent a good month im this domain and I still have not gotten a single crit rate circlet. The best I could do is get Itto to 52 CR 154 CD before I finally gave up and started to work on other characters 🤣 ill get back to him at some point.
Just from what you showed, my Xiao seems to have a similar build xD Same 2 piece artifacts but I had Crit Rate on one instead of Att% (My Crit is something like 44:155 so you're doing better than me xD)
I main xiao, but even spending MONTHS farming artifacts for him, the game simply didn't give me any crit dmg circlet, neither crit rate had to build him atk%, now my xiao has 3k atk (and only 59% crit rate but what we can't see we can't feel)🤡

I used atk head piece too, but in HOD artifacts. While i enhanced it, it goes all to crit dmg. So atk head piece with 45% crit dmg

Don't change the helm to crit dmg he is better this way.

As someone who farms that domain with Xiao, I've never come across anyone that questioned me taking Xiao into the domain but who would when my boy's doing 30k plunges? (with benny for healing and atk boost otherwise 25-28k plunges max)
As a xiao main, they literally asked me to use Xiao when I try to be a support especially on Azhdaha 🤣but kinda scary when suddenly all of them died except me,xiao main and a healer then the azhdaha has half of his hp

My xiao build has a 94% crit rate and 150 % crit damage but I still havent been lucky enough to find a good anemo goblet so I’m stuck with attack for now
and i thought i was crazy on crit rate with 82 lmaoo. respect though, consistency over anything else. sometimes my xiao will just decide to not do a crit hit 4 plunges in a row and it makes me wanna cry

Just pulled a double 5* Xiao ten pull and was really happy.
Threw on random artifacts I had and after fully awakened (only level 80 tho) he has about 3,300 attack, 69% crit rate (nice), and 168% crit damage. This is with Staff of Homa. If I use the battle pass spear I can get it to 99% crit rate, however, the crit damage goes to 100% ultimately lowering the damage even though it crits always.
Does about 48-50k per big dive and 30k something per little dive. Went from having a Yoimiya be my highest damage dealer to this monstrosity.
As person who have guaranteed for xiao whos care about corrosion, he is my favorite character even he cant fight i will pull him

I don't have Xiao, but I always thought he can't get corrosion anyway because the wolves float really low on the ground, and they can't really hit you if you're always jumping.

Lol this literally my Xiao build in early 1.3, im using 4 pieces gladiator but no crit circlet, so im using atk with good sub stat,
But trust me, its much more better with Crit DMG circlet
U need a crit dmg circlet with crit rate n attack substat get ur crit rate to 70%+ with 200%+ crit dmg n thats it game over

i feel this, i got my xiao on 65% crit rate with 235% crit damage, my dream is 70% crit with 240 crit damage or 60% crit with 250% crit damage.

Skyward is really good on Xiao, partially because of the weapon effect, and partially because he needs some energy recharge.

that's actually good. crit damage is based off of your ATK, so i would gladly say that lower crit dmg with higher atk can give you better damage rather than sacrificing ATK only for 300% crit damage.
True but i’d rather take the 300% crit dmg to multiply the 2k instead of 3k atk multiplied by 200% crit dmg. 300% crit dmg is more of a flex.
@@mofumofu512 i personally dont care about flexing based on stats, cos i flex based on dmg, and with the only possible stats to get is either 300% cdmg + below 2k atk, or above 2k atk and 150-250% cdmg, I'd rather take the one with bigger dmg.
Just fyi, every genshin players' most biggest mistake is only focusing on cdmg and forgetting what their skills, bursts, normals, and crits are based off of, it's literally ATK.

@@frosty2l4s5f4 but u are forgetting one thing, diminishing return. Attack% substats starts to fall off late game when u are comparing it to something like cdmg which has a much higher point for DR comparatively.
There's a reason why getting cdmg is much more valuable than getting atk% past roughly the 2.2k attack point.
@@ymw1107 i never said getting 3k atk. Im saying 2k. Above 2k with 200 cdmg is better than 1,5k atk with 300 cmdg. 3k is way too much. 2,1-2,4k is good. Im only saying for those who focus on getting 300% cdmg but then they forgot about their 1,5k atk

All I'm saying is just that the higher atk u got, the less valuable it becomes comparatively to cdmg stats, with the break even point roughly at around 2.2k atk at base. So, u will most likely hit the DR cap having external means that buff atk in most cases, making it a stat that is less valuable with investment.
Cdmg however, is much more valuable with investment, as not only is its DR ceiling much higher than atk%, bcuz u are extremely unlikely to reach the cap in normal means (i.e. buffer), making it most often the case the better stat.
But of course, I do agree with u on the point that low atk like 1.5k atk is way too little, so before 2k atk, the best case is defnitely go with atk% before u hit the break even point, and focus on Cdmg once u are over the 2k marks.
If u are interested, check out the KQM math and DR graph between Cdmg and Atk%, u will get a much better idea on their respective value with investment over time.
I'm an Itto main now but I used to spend a lot of time in this domain, my Xiao turned everything into mush. I needed lots of healing ofc
ive spent a good month im this domain and I still have not gotten a single crit rate circlet. The best I could do is get Itto to 52 CR 154 CD before I finally gave up and started to work on other characters 🤣 ill get back to him at some point.

Same 2 piece artifacts but I had Crit Rate on one instead of Att% (My Crit is something like 44:155 so you're doing better than me xD)
I main xiao, but even spending MONTHS farming artifacts for him, the game simply didn't give me any crit dmg circlet, neither crit rate
had to build him atk%, now my xiao has 3k atk
(and only 59% crit rate but what we can't see we can't feel)🤡
Man i need an advice for xiao i have him 2 glad+2 vv with 207% cd and 78% cr and blackcliff spear the highest dmg he can do is 35k with bennet ult...... HE EVEN HARDLY CRIT
