My boyfriend is from guine-Bissau and now lives in Ireland, I don’t know this food but he cooks well and has introduced me to a lot of great food I never experienced before. I’m curious to learn about his home country and the culture so I can know him better. He also lived in Portugal so his food has Portuguese flavours and dishes also 🥰 love from Ireland 🇮🇪 I had that fish for the first time with him, I never seen a fish served whole like this before so it was a surprise to me and it felt strange to eat something while it has eyes and a mouth looking at you 😂 but it tasted really really nice! We had it with yams 🍠

This cooking demonstration is very inspiring. When I take my trip to Bissau, I will try as many local dishes as possible and hope this is affordable. I already noted this one, that looks so delicious. I whished people from Bissau would open restaurants in Europe too. Their cooking tradition would be a discovery for many native residents. Furthermore globalizations allows a mixture of different traditions so that completely new styles could be created. 😋
